This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information.
[u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u]
• Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps:

-[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url]
-Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch)
-Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny
[b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b]
• Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition.
• Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating.
• We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards.
•The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar.
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b]
[u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application
- Press the Menu button on your controller
- Select "Manage Game"
- Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side)
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition.
• Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating

• If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url]
• We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear.
• We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b]Update 9/24: Hotfix 2.0.0.4 addressed an issue in which the Golden Chest node completions disappeared after the releae of The taken King.[/b]

[b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b]
•We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items.
• We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b]
• We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release.
• We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest.

• We are investigating some Xbox 360 players reporting that they have not received their Spark of Light after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King.

• There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. [u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating.
• There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507
[u][b]9/29 NOTES[/b][/u]
• The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards. For more information, follow this [url=https://www.bungie.net/7_Vanguard-Streaks/en/Help/Article/13629]Help article[/url].
• It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen. We stress that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window. We will continue to investigate this issue.
[b][u]10/1 Notes[/u][/b]
• Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more.
UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.

• We are aware that players are unable to activate their fully charged Agonarch Rune, and are currently investigating.

Just got my Physical copy of the Legendary Edition. I only received a disc, and a code for the early access weapons. Shouldn't there be a code for TTK as well?

Ps4 here. After TTK dlc i have notice all my strange coins are GONE. I had somewhere around 200. I promise im not just trying to get free strange coins. Ive been a day one player and i am a loyal bungie fan (since 2001 halo) so please help me fix this issue. U dont even have to send me all the strange coins that went missing. Just enough for me to buy the things from xur that i may not have already wich is mainly what im worried about.

After the 2.0 update I was doing the quest path of the defender with my titan. At stage 8 i got a nasty glitch that freezes thenkicks me out the entire game when performing ward of dawn with weapons of light. Error code ce-34878-0 appears on the screen along with the option to report it. Is there anything being done or I can do to fix it besides wiping my ps4 and reloading the software? I have reloaded Destiny to no avail. This is the only game and character I get this error with. I have put a lot of hours into my titan as it's my main character and fits my playing style the best. I don't want to delete it and start all over. Is there a fix for this? If so when? Or am I the only person experiencing this?

Edited by A3THNOS-: 9/17/2015 5:58:51 PMThere's a serious bug where you're on a mission killing enemies or whatever else you may be going on, and then on your screen appears the message "Joining Allies" or "Re-Joining Allies" when your still within the vicinity of your teammates and then after a 5 second countdown your teleported to a random spot. I've experienced this 5 times now, 3 times in the last mission I did. I don't know the name of the mission but it involves the Undying Mind but i'm not 100% sure.

Alright, can anyone help or give me anything they may think will help? (Xbox 360) I still can't play the taken king. I preordered it Sept 1st and downloaded it on the 15th. I can see the Suros vanguard weapons at the Quarter master but I can't access any of the taken king content, it keeps saying I need to enter a code (which I don't have) or I need to purchase it again. If anyone knows what to do please comment below! Also BNG said there was going to be a live patch coming out today at 9am... It's past 9am and I haven't had any notification of one yet..

I was hoping this was a really needed patch today... instead the Terms of use is about to be called upon in a court setting. because its not working on one xbox 360 for other users on the same xbox. I dont like to blame... so why is this happening? I understand you guys are trying to cover so many bases at the moment. It doesn't help when 3 people want to play taken king in one household... WHICH may I add is really expensive IF we have to buy all three? It worked before on the Dark below and House of wolves so why has this "Expansion" suddenly not working? There has been a work around BUT that is temporary.... and has to be re-done each time when logging in. I hope you understand the frustration this causes, YES?

I was given a copy of Destiny's legendary edition as a gift, I have the dark below and house of wolves so I only used the code for the taken king. I redeem the code on xboxs live and it download the taken king, I didn't use the in game prompt. This all worked as normal but when I go to play the game, it tells me I need to purchase the taken , please can someone help me on this, what should I do now?

My friend can't access the taken king content despite having the disc inserted from the collectors edition. Do you need to enter a code as well?

Hrs and hrs of strikes at lvl 41 gets 4 legendary drops not complaining did nf got 12 strange coins just wondering why I'm getting absolutely next to no drops at all is my drop rate stuffed ??

Anybody having trouble playing TTK you must own Tdb and HoW before you can play. I just figured this out the hard way.

That advice is also rubbish!! I have uninstalled/installed full game and DLC's, I have manually redownloaded all dlc, I have cleared cache umpteen times, updated licence (which is just manually downloading dlc again) AND still not working! I would like to know how this is going to be resolved or I want a refund as is my statutory right, as this product is not fit for purpose. This is beyond a joke now.....3 days and no closer to resolution. AWFUL AWFUL customer service.

I need help bungie. Day one player here, did everything in destiny, and never received my emblem? Says I "found all chest" 0/20.. really? Do you know how much self-control it would take for me to "NOT" open up that gold chest in the first mission? Not happining. Who could resist?

Don't know why this would be hard to do when I'm just going to buy the taken king for the PS4 with the $40.00 I used to pre-order it on the PS3. No lost to Bungie, Activision, or Sony. The money is going to the same product but just on a different platform. Just think it would be messed up if they would not do this, to make ppl buy it twice because of a misunderstanding or a mistake in purchasing is wrong. A UNHAPPY CUSTOMER = A UNHAPPY COMPANY... A HAPPY CUSTOMER = A HAPPY COMPANY.. Was not aware that march/ 21/ 2015 was the last day for transfers from PS3 to PS4.
