This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information.
[u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u]
• Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps:

-[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url]
-Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch)
-Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny
[b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b]
• Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition.
• Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating.
• We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards.
•The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar.
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b]
[u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application
- Press the Menu button on your controller
- Select "Manage Game"
- Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side)
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition.
• Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating
[u][b]9/17 NOTES[/b][/u]
• If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url]
• We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear.
• We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b]Update 9/24: Hotfix 2.0.0.4 addressed an issue in which the Golden Chest node completions disappeared after the releae of The taken King.[/b]

[b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b]
•We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items.
• We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b]
• We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release.
• We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest.
[u][b]9/25 NOTES[/b][/u]

• Hot Fix 2.0.0.4 addresses some of the issues seen with the launch of Destiny: The Taken King. You can read the Hot Fix notes on [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13562]this Help article[/url].
• We are investigating some Xbox 360 players reporting that they have not received their Spark of Light after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King.
[u][b]9/26 NOTES[/b][/u]
• There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. Additionally, you may be required to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]restore the licenses on your console[/url]. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating.
• There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507

• The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards. For more information, follow this [url=https://www.bungie.net/7_Vanguard-Streaks/en/Help/Article/13629]Help article[/url].
• It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen. We stress that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window. We will continue to investigate this issue.
[b][u]10/1 Notes[/u][/b]
• Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more.
UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.

• We are aware that players are unable to activate their fully charged Agonarch Rune, and are currently investigating.

All I have seen are Xbox updates. I am on PS4 and can't play destiny because I can't download the small update. The large 17 GB is already downloaded last week and I have been playing but now I can't play even though my friends are playing wide open. I have checked my licenses, activated my console and nothing. Not sure what to do. My gamer tag is EMRIFOREVER is that helps at all. I have no clue how to contact support other than here, is there a toll free number to call? Get it together, I am $150 in and am royally pissed off right now!!!

I know someone that works there as an executive, a family member in fact....and they did the switch on the digital upgrade to specifically take advantage of those who had invested in the xbox one and the 360. They knew they had enough people stuck with both systems and upgrading so they could squeeze you by the nards and make you pay twice for the same content from the same company. They were actually thrilled with the idea of the new revenue. Some numbers were a little low, so they offset it with this criminal sleazy scheme.

I'm on the Xbox one and on the day of the taken king release all three of my characters have disappear I'm not to happy I'd like to have a reply from bungie because I love destiny and don't feel like doing characters all over again plzz answer and if I'm not the only that this happen to plzz reply if you found a way to fix it

Is bungie holding a grudge agianst Microsoft users? I purchased Destiny on PS3 PS4 and Xbox One i never experienced the technical difficulties to where id be signed out completely and not have access to my game content that i purchased on PS. Bungie, Activision, Sony, Microsoft i shouldnt have to buy i different console just because the makers of the game favor PS network. Bungie if everything is working fine on the PS it should work the same on my xbox. The taken king is my final straw i will not buy anything under the name Bungie is this continues.

Is there any type of response for the class emblems in the kiosk being unavailable? I have completed all on my warlock (stormcaller after ttk drop) and still can't access the class emblems. They state to complete the quests. I have my stormcaller subclass! So one could infer that I in fact completed the quest.

I still don't have the 1st and 2nd dlc after clearly stating in the code that I'd get all the expansions for the game, seriously what scam is this?

Bungie I'm not sure how this forums work, but I am having a major issue. I purchased/preordered the best package of taken king for Xbox one and paid over $80 at GameStop and got it at 11:00 Monday night. When I went to log into my character I got the dance moves but I DID NOT receive any suros shader/emblem, I didn't get my moment of triumphs emblem because after I updated it set my golden chest to 0/20. My mida multi tool fully upgraded was deleted from my character and I cannot get from blue prints and I DID HAVE IT BEFORE UPDATE. I have tried to uninstall re install and even did the whole game and waited a full day for it to finish downloading. Please send me a message or something regarding this issue and how it will be fixed, I have spent way to much time and money for this to go unsolved. Thank you -DEATHxGUNN. XBOX ONE

Is this what we get for paying more than we needed to for your game? These stupid server issues are really getting on my nerves after I've spent over $100 on a game that was really supposed to be $60, you ripped us off, the least you could do is use the money we gave you wisely so you can improve these issues. I love the game, but I deeply hate the choices you've made Bungie. I used to actually look up to you guys when I played halo. You were the one company I really liked, and now. You guys are just money hungry.

I paid A LOT of money to play this game, and it has been offline multiple times when I went to play it.....they STOLE my money, but aren't even giving me what I paid for. They make themselves unreachable so you can't complain or have it addressed. It really is just a robbery.

Ok. I have paid for this game over and over... and OVER AGAIN! 2 xbox 360 copies plus the xbox one taken king edition. All the dlcs on 2 machines. Today I try to log in and it's telling me "You have lost connection to the Destiny servers. Your permissions to access online multiplayer game play a have changed or your profile may have been signed in elsewhere." I have Internet. Xbox live is up to date. I need this fixed NOW.
