This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. Stay tuned to this post for updates and new information.
[u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u]
• Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps:

-[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url]
-Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch)
-Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny
[b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b]
• Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition.
• Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating.
• We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards.
•The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar.
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. We are aware of this issue and are actively investigating. [b] 9/16 UPDATE - This offer should now be available to all eligible players in all eligible regions. If you are unable to see this offer, please ensure your account meets all the pertinent requirements[/b]
[u] [b]9/16 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Xbox One players, who have purchased Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition, may need to manually install individual parts of the Collector's Edition bundle to receive in-game items. This can be done by performing the following steps:
- From the Xbox Dashboard, highlight the Destiny application
- Press the Menu button on your controller
- Select "Manage Game"
- Verify all eligible downloads are installed (uninstalled items will be noted on the right-hand side)
• The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade is not available for the Xbox 360. Players who wish to obtain items from the Digital Collector's Edition will need to purchase the Digital Collector's Edition.
• Player's current Legendary Marks are not being updated on the Bungie.net. We aware of this issue and are actively investigating

• If you've purchased Destiny: The Taken King and discover that any part of your purchase contents are not in-game, you may need to [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507]manually install a portion of the download[/url]
• We're aware of an issue where players may experience a Destiny application crash/freeze when multiple status effects are active. We're actively investigating this matter. If you experience game crashes/freezes when multiple status effects are applied to your character, a known work around is equipping different pieces of gear.
• We have identified the issue with Golden Chests count for the Moments of Triumph requirements and are working on a fix. We will have more information in the near future. [b]Update 9/24: Hotfix 2.0.0.4 addressed an issue in which the Golden Chest node completions disappeared after the releae of The taken King.[/b]

[b][u]9/18 NOTES[/u][/b]
•We are currently investigating reports of eligible players are not receiving all Destiny: The Taken King Collector's Edition items.
• We are aware of reports that some eligible players are not seeing their VIP Quest "Veteran's Tour". We are currently investigating. [b][u]9/24 NOTES[/u][/b]
• We have fixed an issue with Year 1 Moments of Triumphs in which the Golden Chest node completions were disappearing after the Destiny: The Taken King release.
• We have fixed an issue where players who reached Level 40 before turning in the Reach Level 30 objective did not properly receive the Level 40 quest.

• We are investigating some Xbox 360 players reporting that they have not received their Spark of Light after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King.

• There have been reports of players losing access to their SUROS Arsenal content. We are actively investigating this matter. In the meantime, please ensure that all Destiny content is installed with [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507] this Help article[/url]. • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating.
• There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b]
[u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u]
• Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. Installation of the Suros Arsenal Pack or Hakke Weapons Pack may be required: https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/13507

• The Nightfall reward “Radiant Light” has been retired. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards. For more information, follow this [url=https://www.bungie.net/7_Vanguard-Streaks/en/Help/Article/13629]Help article[/url].
• It is possible to lose Armsday Orders when attempting to redeem them from the character inventory screen. We stress that players only redeem Armsday orders within the Gunsmith's turn-in order window. We will continue to investigate this issue.

• Favorites on Bungie.net have been disabled. We are currently investigating this, and will update when this feature is available once more.
UPDATE: Favorites have been turned back on. We will continue to monitor this feature to ensure it is functioning properly.

• We are aware that players are unable to activate their fully charged Agonarch Rune, and are currently investigating.

I bought the legendary edition today and my weapons package shows up but when i go to the map the game still says that i don't have the actual taken king edition installed? any ideas was to why this is happening?

Well since Xbox Live support didn't know what was wrong, I'll ask here. I got the legendary edition of Destiny TTK and went to install the contents. For reference, I haven't even played the first expansion. So when I went to install everything, none of the new content was in there. So I talked to Xbox support and the support person had no idea how to help. So all i did was try to manually install everything. Only the two expansion packs showed up and the weapon pack, Not TTK. So I uninstalled everything and tried again, only expansion 1 + 2 and weapons pack. And yes i have tried to re-input the code and it told me that the code has already been used. I tried to go the Xbox Live store to see if the download had to come from there but it wanted me to pay another $80. I'm not going to lie, I am a little more than frustrated at this because I have talked with 3 separate people about this issue and searched for solutions on my own. I don't know if other people are experiancing this problem but I would really like some help soon.

Bungie I bought the digital collectors edition what I didn't realize that cayde-6 quest was not included. I paid the same price though. Is there any other way of getting this quest other than buying another copy. I've paid for the other dlc twice already.

I have ps3 and I put the disk in and it is not playing from disk as I do not have access to the new content. Deleted game and tried again. Why did I need to download the game if I have it on disk?????? 8 gig later no game help please or send me $75 bucks

And it said I owned the legendary bundle. HOWEVER it is not in my games and apps. And I cannot redeem it again because it said it has been used. Can someone from bungie please help me. I SPENT $160 on this game and I DO NOT want to spend anymore. Can someone help me?

I'm having a problem with what I believe is an artifact bug. I've reached level 40 but the artifact slot is still locked. Not sure if this a known bug or just something I've run into.

Sick and tired of this run around tryed calling bungie and activison to try and find out about the suros weapons package but no one can answer why we haven't got it yet I have went to the quateaster and nothing this is a complete rip off on bungies part of not answering your giving what people are paying for something needs to change

I bought physical copy of the legendary edition it just says I have expansion 1 and 2

Some of these solutions for Xbox One gamers that aren't able to unlock TTK content aren't working. My fix was to go to the game add ons page and download the digital upgrade. That unlocked all of the TTK content for me although I was never prompted to do this in the game. After trial and error I figured this out.

Hey Bungie, I brought Destiny: The Taken King - Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade. Many of the stuff are missing. I could not find my SUROS package and Vanguard package of weapons. Hope you can resolve this ASAP. Thank you MRsneakysneak88

I bought the taken king in game on my xbox 1 and it when it asks me to download it all that pops up is a black screen with manage taken kning on it. Can someone please help?

I tried to download The Taken King from the Xbox one but all it did was bring me to a black screen that only said Manage The Taken King.

Two things happened to me so far with taken king that I'm pretty sure are bugs. First one: I completed the quest "high priority targets" which said it would reward legendary marks and a legendary heavy weapon upgrade, but when I turned it in I only got the heavy weapon upgrade and DID NOT receive any marks. Second: I leveled up my vanguard to level 11, I checked the vanguard mentor and he didn't have a package for me?! Also checked postmaster just in case, but didn't receive it there either.

I installed TTK and 2 DLC on my Xbox One last night. content is all available to me when I connect, however my son who has his own secondary account on the Xbox One can only see TTK content. The 2 DLC is greyed out for him. Is there something that needs to be done to allow him to play the DLC on his account? My understanding of the T&C's for xbox one and xbox live is content installed on the Xbox system would be available to all family members on the account/system. Appreciate a response so I can get my son up and running. I purchased the game through game-stop. Thank you.

I bought the $40 add on for my Xbox 360. It downloaded onto my gamer profile. However, my brother has another profile on the same console and he can't play the taken king. Does anyone have information on this?

I have xbox 1. Purchased digital download. Asked me to install The Taken King. I accepted. Now Stuck on a black screen that says "manage the taken king" with nothing visible to manage. In both destiny and apps/games management, the ttk is not installed. Please fix this bs. I refuse to uninstall and reinstall because I'm nearly positive it would cause more issues, time, and money to get it resolved.

had Destiny and all current DLC. Bought physical copy of Legendary, on preorder. Xbox One. So I have SUros code, TTK Weapons pack, and Taken king proper. FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS ON THE CARDS, I enter the codes. Confirmations popup for Suros and Early Weapons pack. Code for TTK says it's taken, but no popup. Load game, trundle on over ot quartermaster. I have pay In game money for my weapons!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! WTF. And no TTK. Go to the mission, click A, say redeem code, and it says that code is already redeemed. Oh really? Why then are you telling me it requires something I supposedly have already redeemed. Tried managing game as the post says, no good. Bungie, really, seriously, either you or Activision need to pull your heads out the hole they are in and look into these problems. I do not appreciate paying large amounts of money for products that don't even attempt to work.

I have not received my suros pack. I'm on Xbox 360. I have visited the vanguard quartermaster. I have deleted and re-downloaded all taken king content. I have cleared the cache on my hard drive. And still no suros weapon pack, shader or emblem. What else can I do?

So I went ahead and deleted the content from Manage Game but now I can't install any of the content since it doesn't appear. This also includes the content for Taken King. Now it doesn't let me play any of it's content. Please Help!!! Been a long time player....
