Hello! This post is dedicated to keeping you up-to-date on information regarding Destiny: The Taken King. This includes purchasing, any issues that may arise, and links to new Help articles. [u][b]9/15 NOTES:[/b] [/u] • Xbox 360 players: If you purchased any digital version of Destiny: The Taken King and are encountering issues launching it, please perform the following steps: -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12539]Clear your console cache[/url] -[url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/12181]Restore the licenses on your console[/url] -Launch the application purchased via Xbox Marketplace (Xbox Dashboard -> Games -> My Games -> Launch) -Once all eligible offers have finished installing, relaunch Destiny [b]We reached a working resolution with Microsoft for this Xbox 360 issue. Any Xbox 360 players who experience error code 80070057 after purchasing Destiny: The Taken King, please contact Xbox support for the best resolution.[/b] • Xbox 360 players who wish to purchase Destiny: The Taken King ($40 USD) can do so via the in-game prompt on the Director. This upgrade will not be available on the Xbox Marketplace, only the Legendary Edition and the full Collector's Edition. • Some users are reporting that the Golden Chest count was reset on their Moments of Triumph at 2am PDT. We are actively investigating. • We are aware of an issue that Crucible rank package display as "Vanguard". These are, in fact, Crucible packages and will give Crucible rewards. •The Suros Arsenal weapons and Vanguard Weapon Pack Items can be found at the Vanguard Quartermaster, located in the Tower Hangar. • The Digital Collector's Edition Upgrade ($20) may not be available for purchase at this time. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/27 NOTES[/b][/u] • Bungie is aware of reports that players are experiencing Audio issues when playing various modes in Destiny, and currently investigating. • There have been reports of players losing access to their Suros Emblem, Shader, and Weapons. Bungie is aware and currently investigating this matter. [b][UPDATE 9/28][/b] [u][b]9/28 NOTES[/b][/u] • Issues impacting the Hakke/Suros Arsenal Packs have been resolved. In its place, Vanguard Streaks can be earned by players in strike playlists for a chance at more rewards.   • Please, would love some help here. I've been playing with the same Xbox and gateway for more than 6 months. Yesterday evening I suddenly had this issue start: Game loads fine to character select screen. Once a character is chosen, load times increase exponentially. It takes about 2 minutes to load into orbit. During this time the music clips in and out. Once in orbit, load times are worse. It takes 2-5 minutes to select a destination. Once that begins loading, it takes another 5-10 minutes of loading before I receive a pumpkin error and am returned to main screen. So what I tried tonight: deleted and reinstalled destiny (while I was at work re downloaded all updates). When I got home I chose a new static ip for Xbox, filled in gateway and subnet stuff. Then added in DNS 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Added Xbox to DMZ list. Then added the following rules under my static Xbox list for port forwarding: TCP 80, UDP 88, both 3074, and both 53. so under port forwarding I chose that and then those values. I feel like that should be correct for that piece, but not sure if that's all that needs done there. I've spent more than 4 hours trouble shooting this and this is my third post here about this issue (with no response from anyone yet!) Verizon states I can pay $75 for their crack team to look into this for me, but since I just paid $80 for the CE edition paying another 75 really feels like a kick in the pants. So, please, some help or suggestions :) Xbox 360, about 30 GB of hard space free. Game is installed and is not running off disc. Other games are running without issue. Netflix is running without issue. With certain settings on network test it says my NAT setting is moderate. Currently, it does not state that. (With all of the changes I've made...) My gateway is a Verizon model FIOS-g1100 Thank you for any help.

  • Two physical copies of the Legendary edition installed on two separate Xbox Ones, with two different Xbox Live Gold accounts. Weapon pack shows as installed on both under "manage game", but appears to unlock nothing in game. No mail with Suros emblem / shader, no Suros weapons showing up on the Vanguard Quartermaster on either console/account. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling weapon pack add-on. Destiny application has been closed and restarted. This download appears to unlock nothing in the game on the Xbox One. These were fresh Destiny installs on consoles that didn't have it prior. Other Taken King content appears to be functioning correctly (i.e. can use Spark of Light and go do TTK missions, access other DLC missions, etc.). I know what it's *supposed* to look like, because I *also* bought (pre-ordered) a physical Legendary edition (at the same time as the Xbox One copies) for PS4, and it works there... had Destiny previously on the PS4, however. Hope this info helps, because there is a problem here other than people not knowing where to look for the stuff.

    • PS4 user; We use two separate psn's. One to buy games, and one to play those games. Since it's on the same console that work fine, but apparently ttk doesn't work that way for ps4 users for whatever ridiculous reason. I can't buy TTK with another account then the one where I already have the Expansion pack. Why ?? Give us the freedom to buy the content from where we want, the requierements it's to be in the same store as the game and have money for that. By the same store as the game i can give an example: The game is bought from an us account and the DLC most be also bought from an us account. We have all that and we still have the some error message: "You have to buy the expansion pack to be able to buy TTK" I already have the expansion pack in another account and it works fine so i will not buy again ! and I wanna buy TTK from another account (where I have money) not the same as the expansion pack.

      • Me an multiple friends on my team did the petra vel dreadnaught mission we did oryx for the hall of souls and it instantly finished it for both us and gave him the piece for the next step we turned both our quests in and both disappeared

But it does not. It is neither installed nor uninstalled. In fact it does not appear at all. I purchased the $40 standard Destiny: The Taken King through Xbox Live (after being unable to purchase it directly through the Director). My Microsoft account shows that the purchase was made, but TTK content does not appear as an available content for DL. On one hand, in-game, Destiny states "Requires the Taken King". But on the other, if I attempt to purchase the $40 standard version through the Director, then it states, "You already own The Taken King", and gives me the option to install. Selecting this option takes me to a screen that has the heading, "Manage Taken King" located just below my gamerpic at the top of an otherwise blank screen. UPDATE: as a balm for the frustration associated with trying to get this TTK nonsense resolved, I thought I'd just enjoy some non-TTK diversion in the crucible. Adding insult to injury, I find that playing crucible is now not an option without TTK! So, we have access to neither the new content we paid for NOR the older content we had previously purchased. ...wow....

                • I had a spark of light on my hunter who i wanted to start over, i put it in the vault then deleted the char and created a new one,when i went to get it, it wasnt there , and i went to check if my other character had it on the postmaster and no, it vanished from vault and postmaster/ all characters. I looked it up on the internet where it said tess everis should have it. But tess hasnt been around since ttk, now my chae its on lvl 2 and i dont want to fully startover, but the spark of the light tricked me...................................................

                • I installed everything, enjoying Ttk, but i downloaded suros pack and didn't get anything, no shader no emblem no weaps at quartmaster. Can you sort it out? Nothing helping from all this steps. Thank you

                  Started a new topic: HELP CANNOT PLAY AT ALL,

                • I was pre-odered The Taken King (xone) with bonus weapons, but in game add-on is unavailable. When i try purchase TTK ingame store, i see the window with text that i already purchased it. In game managment there is no element witk TTK, but bonus armor is there. I was contact Xbox support, they told me that is Bungie's issue.

                        People are still having problems with TTK installation. The game does not see installed expansion. I'll put [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/154229744/0/0/1]this link[/url] here in hope that it may help somebody.
