This post may seem dumb, and I may seem as a stupid teenager venting out. But I'm truly freaked or by the fact I'm asking this girl to go to homecoming with next week. We've been close since a while ago, but there's always a part of me that thinks that's she's just gonna say "no"
Any tips on how to be less nervous?
Edit: Thanks to all who responded, I will ask her first thing tomorrow without hesitation :)
Edit 2: SHE SAID YES!

Just go for it. You'll look back later (after u get it in :) and laugh about it.

DONT LET YOUR DREAMS BE DREAMS

You'll do fine. Just respect whatever she says, but chances are she'll say yes just to go as friends if not as a couple.

All those replies below are what I could say but I'll say this: do it. Worst thing that can happen is that she says no but you move on right? Be confident when you ask her.

In the words of the great Shia JUST DO IT.

You only got one shot

If she says no then oh well. It's better then living the rest of your life with the thought of "I wonder what would have happened if I did ask her". You probably heard people say this before and Ima say it too. Nothing that happens in high school will matter when you graduate. I guarantee you. Been out for 4 years and I always laugh about how small high school problems were, and kick myself for being "scared or shy" back then and let it get in the way of things.

Do it, if she says no look her in the eye and say
no u (as illogical is it may seem)

but seriously, you should do it
Go for it man I was like you and I didn't ask the girl out I've regretted it ever since don't let life pass you by.

Think of it this way. She's probably worried no one will ask her and she's probably nervous to because of that. Or just dont be a puss. Worst she can say is no. Its not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. Man up
