That's a terrible analogy. It's more like this: You and I (Xbox user and PS user) walk into a burger joint and we both order the exact same thing, and when our order shows up I have an extra side dish with my meal but you don't. I ask the waiter why I got it and you didn't, the waiter responds 'Well Sony decided to pay the money for you to get an extra side, Microsoft chose not to for your friend so they only got what they ordered. But in a year we will be including that side dish with the meal at no extra charge for anyone'. Hopefully I've put it in such a way that you're able to understand.
