Crota's death was a sign to being a beyond our miniscule corner of the universe. Now, we face Oryx, Crota's father. Now, we take up arms against a god, and his trans dimensional army. So, think you can kill a god?
[b]Rules[/b]:
Do not violate the Bungie.net Code of Conduct.
Do not kill other people's characters.
No god modding.
"One Liner" Roleplay is discouraged (i.e. *John walked up the hill*).
These rules will update as the RP progresses.
[b]Game Link[/b]
"Game Link" a new feature that is being implemented in this Roleplay. By completing certain tasks within the game, you can earn rewards for your characters. There are two variations of Game Link.
[b]Quests[/b]: Quests follow a pre determined storyline. To partake in quests, you must complete certain tasks in game. Completing Quests can earn your character rewards. Quests are available anytime once they are released.
[b]Events[/b]: Events are similar to Quests, except they do not follow a storyline, and are available for a limited time. As with Quests, completing Events can earn your character rewards.

He couldn't risk a direct assault over the city, as he didn't have anywhere near the amount of ships he used to have in the fleet. He watched as Fallen and Hive alike set up defensive positions, forming up the command centre. Then he looked at the valley they were in. It was relatively large, with only one way in or out. That exit was where the Guardians were forming up. He'd have to plough through them if he wanted to reach the city. A fairly large river split the valley in half, and not doubt would be the site of the heaviest fighting. Lake was behind him, leaning on a wall. Aries," Are you ready?" Lake," Only if Erik is here..." Aries," There's only one way to find out." [b]Meanwhile[/b] James and Lakir returned to the Guardian base in the valley after busting out Aliksis and Lakun'ai. Lakun'ai was sent off to get medical attention for his broken legs. Lakir went to the edge of the camp, and kept to himself. James was in command of the whole army, and he was giving orders to his unit commanders. Although he never said how or why, James had fought Aries like this once, so he had an idea as to the tactics he'd use. (( Open. This is the battle of Oasis Valley ))

[b]Somewhere in London Vlademire lands and scouts for any unusual energy readings but finds only one that is on the other side of a river inside an ancient cathedral like building. He barged trough the door and goes to the lowest floor where a door is locked. He gets his shotgun and shoots the lock, breaking it. He tries to open the door but heavy objects block it so he uses nova bomb on it to blow it open. Inside is a white sleek gun with dirt covering it and when he picks it up his ghost appears and says[/b] "Well that is one of a kind. It's a monty Carlo! Better take it." [b]Vlad picks it up and it is transmitted away and sets for the energy readings in the room and when he moves a book of a dusty shelf the floor drops and he falls onto train tunnels that have overgrown with time. He gets up shortly after and sees ritual markers all over the place that is not hive. He sighs and sees taken ahead with a gun being tampered with he gets his charged nova bomb and it kills all of the taken, he goes and collects the gun.[/b]. "Touch of malice. The one you lost. Same upgrades and scopes and stats let's take it and go" Says ghost. Vlad walks off and shoots a rocket through the floors and gets the ship to come down. He gets in and flies off before he could see a face of oryx in the darkness where the ritual continues on something else... An old helmet from when Crota was killed. (Open to all)

She was just beginning to reach the end of her side, while Garuud was on the other side doing the same thing, meaning he couldn't get to her if she had a problem.[/b] "Hey Garuud, how are you going?" [b]She says into her helmets coms trying to talk to him, but she only received static.[/b] "Strange, you could almost sa-" [b]Her bike stops suddenly, sending Leech flying forward away from her bike. She lands on the ground in a roll, coming up on her feet quickly. She looks up to where the bike now sits, the front end squashed in, to see a wire running a short length along. It had survived what its creators had not, time. The whole area was quiet, peaceful almost. Aside from the occasional cry from a bird, there was nothing indicating that anything that was living was here. Up on the temple, at the highest point, two figures sat over a board, talking amongst each other. Aries and Lake, although Lake wasn't too interested in the conversation. He got much more interested when Guardian ships arrived at the area. (( Closed ))

2 RepliesAt the edge of the dreadnought, my arm hanging over the edge with Hawkmoon grasped so tightly in my hand. The blade of Oryx, after a long fought battle between us, steps closer to my defeated one self. For once the hive where about to be victorious. Instead of draining my light with his sword, the beast crushes my arm as I try to recover it from the edge of the dreadnought with intense weight. As I hear the bones being crushed in my arm, I scream in pain and let go of Hawkmoon, watching as it falls into the deep space. Then I knew it's forever gone. All the adventures I've had with the dearest Hawkmoon, I went into the vault with Hawkmoon, the pit, even the prison, and Mercury too. I knew I was not going to die like this, without Hawkmoon by my side my death would be incomplete. The blade of Oryx was leaning in to see in my visor of my helmet. Out of intense anger I grab my knife, and shove it in his center eye temporarily blinding him. My golden gun was ready. I quickly dart out of his space as the blade of Oryx covers his bleeding eye. My ghost says we have to go back in the ship, but I refused. I had to avenge my dearest Hawkmoon. I use my super, and something unusual happened. I forged my light into my golden gun. It has the formation and shape of Hawkmoon. The blade of oryx pulls my knife out of his eye and begins charging towards me with his sword. I ready my blazing gun and fire at the beast. He became nonexistent. Behind where he was perished I looked into the deep hole I have blasted into the side of the dreadnought. No this isn't possible, a void that large couldn't be caused by a Hawkmoon shaped golden gun. Out of fear I return to my ship then headed to the tower. I told Cayde-6 what happened. Ikora overheard our conversation, and the warlocks took deep interest of what I had to say. That's how I became legend. How about you?

93 RepliesA cloaked figure stalks the dusty plains of Mars. The grainy wind blowing his cloak. His entire body and face is covered by the black and ragged shell. He arrives at a Cabal stronghold. Surprisingly, the Cabal don't shoot, not even a sign of aggression. They just observe him. He walks towards the large circular door. The two legionaries blocking the path eventually move out of his way as the door opens and he walks through. He walks down a large corridor, many Cabal draw their eyes towards him. He eventually arrives in what appears to be a throne room. A large Cabal General with black and red armor with bloody spikes sits in the throne. He stops and looks at the General. "Kronos…you look...well." [i]Cut the chatter. I have what you came for, Turned.[/i] His voice is booming and loud, as well intimidating. But not to him. The hoods voice, on the other hand, is calm and rough around the edges. "Turned" was a term than Kronos called him. It's an appropriate term due to the former Guardian now hunting his kind. The General nodded his head towards 2 lavish looking Centurions. They open a large door. Screams are heard inside said door. The hood walks inside. Inside are specimens of all kind crammed in cages. Fallen, Hive, Vex and others that are unrecognizable. He walks towards the end of the room to reveal a cell with a Titan with Iron Banner armor on. He has scratches and burns all over. His helmet was still on. [b]Look at what you've become. A monster. I used to idolize you. I wanted to BE you. Heh. Funny how things change.[/b] The cell door opens as the hood walks in. "I guess that's why you should never meet your heroes." Screams are heard even from out side the fortress, unnerving some of the Cabal. The hood walks out with the Titan slung over his shoulder. The Titan has more scratches and dents in his armor, but the helmet was still on. A black sparrow appears and he throws the Titan over the back. He gets on the dark sparrow and speeds off, leaving a void trail. He swiftly moves on the red plains, perhaps going somewhere. [spoiler]open[/spoiler]

She got up out of bed and got herself ready for another boring day if nothing. She put on her armor(pic above) and walked out of her room to the hanger hoping to find a way to sneak out of the tower.[/b] [b]when she got to the hanger she looked around. It was still very early in the morning so it was practically empty except for the quarter master, some workers, and a few other guardians. She summoned her ghost[/b] [Aria]"ghost can you summon my ship?" [Ghost]"i thought we had strict orders from the vanguard to stay here" [Aria]"well we do.... I just don't like following order" [Ghost]"Aria this is a horrible idea. You're going to get into even more trouble." [Aria]"Who says the vanguard need to know about this?" [Ghost]"you know I have to tell them if you leave right?" [Aria]"no you don't and your not going to or I'll leave you here next time I go out on a mission" [Ghost]"you wouldn't" [Aria]"wouldn't I?" 18 RepliesVlademire, walks to the tower bar in his usual armour sporting, for a change the Ram and the predawn shader. He looks at the drinks gets a bottle and pays by slamming down 150 glimmer onto the counter. Within a minute of the bottle being open, he drinks the contents to shut out his sorrows. He gets up and walks over to a seat in the corner and accidentally spills someone's drink by going into them. The person tries to hit him but Vlad quickly grabs the fist and bends it back but not fully before moving away and sitting down. (Open to others)
