No they didn't they said any bounties not completed will be auto abandoned at the release of the patch, they didn't say shit about completed ones, and they where not abandoned so you are wrong sir, you may want to re read those patch notes ahaha.
"Incomplete Year 1 Bounties are auto-abandoned on 09/08 in preparation for The Taken King launch"
Note the INCOMPLETE. Also note the date of abandoning.
