I kind of want to see some people's opinion me personally some of my friends (including myself) will eat or even bring their dinner in during a long raid days I have never seen a problem as long as they move their Mic so it's not too close but I want to find others opinion because I have ran into people who refused to play because I was eating some candy corn ...
Edit. That last one is no food when gaming it won't let me change it now whoops and they mute not the ... My phone has horrendous spell check
Edit . Nice ~100 votes keep it up

I also mute mine when I do so. I usually let them know if I'm going to be quiet for a while.
-
I can't stand the noise of people eating.
-
I can't mute my mic, so I just chew with my mouth closed. I never really eat anything hard though. Just grapes.
-
Who are they eating?
-
As long as you move your mic away your fine.
-
Extremely annoying. I eat when I game sometimes but I always mute the mic when doing so.
-
If you have a 300+ $ headset that is not sony or Microsoft made you can do anything in your mic your friends won't get mad because it still sounds good
-
It doesn't bother me if people eat while gaming, I do it too, but I would either move the mic away from my mouth or mute it. The only thing that really grinds my gears is when young kids keep yapping on incessantly about random shit that may or may not be connected to the game. It's only happened a couple of time though, and each time the person doing it was told by the team to kindly shut the -blam!- up. So yeah, we're all good as long as you don't feel the need to fill every moment of silence with random chit chat.

I once mistook an apple for a bag of chips on my friends mic. It was a funny conversation. :)
-
It only annoys me when this one friend of mine does it, honestly its like he has the mic follow his food down his throat! Ugh...
-
Depends what it is. Like, I'd rather hear you slurping up soup than crunching on chips.
-
As long as they're quiet about it. I myself at least turn my mic off and often just take it off my head out of respect.
-
Just as long as it's not obnoxious. We all gotta eat but we don't have to be so invasive with our mouth noises. I had some squeaker beat boxing one time, like the entire first part of the raid. I finally asked if he planned on being obnoxious the whole time and he had no idea why I didn't like his beat boxing.

It annoys me to no end. Playing and eating is fine, but mute your damn mic while you do it.
-
No food when eating obviously. Filthy casuals eating....food? How disgusting. Poor people.
-
If you eat with the mic on I'm taking of my headset or muting you
-
I usually eat while playing, small stuff but if it's crunchy I pull the mic away so I just have to speak a little louder to talk to everyone.

The pickles and the pickles
-
I chose no food when eating because food is overrated.
