I'm going to not buy TTK, but still go on destiny to enjoy the old PS exclusives, and do some levelling up, because I assume you can still get to 40 without the expansion.

You need TTK to get to 40, sorry bro
-
Really? So they've killed this game for anyone that doesn't want TTK? Nightfalls and heroics are 40 now right?
-
I don't know about "killed". There might be some activities for people who didn't buy it, but the amount of stuff to do will be severely limited.
-
Let's be honest here... You aren't buying it because you're poor. Fact.
-
Lol! I have plenty of money. The reason for that however, is that I make good investments. Hence my reasoning for not buying this game.
-
Yeah right... gtfo poor person. I bet you buy alcohol now and then? Is that a good investment? How is a xbox a good investment? Or Destiny?
-
That is a fairly weak argument. A good investment is something that you get your money's worth out of. I definitely got my money's worth out of any gaming system I own, as well as destiny. I don't feel that I will get my money's worth out of TTK, as I've never spent more than 10 bucks on any expansion, and don't intend to quadruple that on any game. And no, I don't drink. I'm beginning to think that you simply like to criticize, and be rude to people with no actual fact, because it makes you feel better about your own existence to make others feel worse about themselves. In that case, I sincerely hope you grow up some day, and realize that treating others like that makes you a horrible person. Your reply will tell me all I need to know about what kind of person you are. Will you man up, an realize you were out of line with your comments? Or will you continue to act like a toddler, and be the scum that makes up our society? Your call.
-
How many hours have you played Destiny? Buy the DLC and you'll get those same hours out of Destiny = another good investment. I didn't read all your comment because you started looking like you were going to run to your mum and call the police.
-
Around 1000. And there's no way I'll get anywhere close to that in TTK. It's an expansion, not a new game. One new location, as opposed to 4 in the core game. All my characters are maxed to 34 already, which means I won't have that exciting new game feeling to keep me going, I'll just be adding on to existing characters. In the past dlc packs, that gave me very few hours compared to the core game. I don't expect taken king to be any different. And you proved the rest of my post correct with the way you replied to me, you didn't have to read it, I got my answer. Have fun being a miserable person.
-
The raid alone will give you your hours worth... How long do you think it takes to perfect characters? It takes a long time.
-
And that time will not be worth 40 bucks to me. I'd much rather spend my money elsewhere.
-
Okay... Each to their own.
-
Exactly.

Edited by Xv ZoMbIE KilLA: 9/14/2015 12:57:46 PMNo some people just don't want it it's over hyped like the main game was
-
Yeah right. They're poor people. I bet you spend like £40 a week on alcohol.
-
Nope lmao he's not poor he just doesn't want it if anything your the poor one cause your parents are buying it for you lmao
-
Of course they are, son.
-
You can't level above 34.
-
Really? So without the taken king this game is over? Nightfalls and heroics are level 40 activities now right?
-
Yes that part of endgame is moving forward. Can can keep on doing the 2 raids and PoE but no thing that requires higher levels
-
I guess they've effectively killed the game for anyone that doesn't spend money then. At least before there were enough activities available to still enjoy destiny. What they're doing now is just crap and a cash grab.
-
No it is how endgame woks. You were not going to be able to get new weapons or gear. Nightfalls have been a on sliding level scale from the start. Why you would want to keep playing year one stuff when you can't get new rewards I am not sure if. If you choose to not keep up with expansions it is best to stop playing the game. Every game company is only in it to make money
-
Nightfalls have been playable with every level increase, regardless of whether or not you bought the expansions. I would like the game I purchased to not become obsolete, just because I don't wanna feed the company money. In effect, I am now getting less content than when I bought the game in the first place. That's just wrong. The game is just as fun as it was when it released without the expansions. Why should I just quit? There's always been regular high level armor, and expansion armor. If you wanted the extra stuff you paid more. Everyone could still get to max level and still enjoy the game. With TTK, they're saying "screw the loyal players that don't wanna spend more". Any level based crucible modes won't be playable, as 34's will get crushed, they've taken away nightfall and heroic strikes, which shipped with the main game that I paid for. And you say just quit playing the game I paid for? That's terrible.
-
Edited by Your TTV is Trash Bro!!!: 9/14/2015 1:58:49 PMNope content is the same. The strikes story missions and raids you paid for is all playable for you. If you didn't buy TDB or HoW you were locked out of Nightfalls. Expect for the new strikes to be the first 6 weeks Nightfalls even if you could get to 40. heroic strikes have been taken out anyway. Nearly every game is obsolete after the first year
-
Edited by Xianthar: 9/14/2015 2:03:08 PMNo game is obsolete after the first year. Nightfalls and heroics were taken away as content for TTK ONLY. The other 2 expansions you could still play the mode, just not the expansion strikes. I still have all my games and can play all of them. Your arguments are so non factual.
