Can anyone explain to me why everyone likes nightstalker? I feel like I missed out on an important ability, it just doesn't seem useful to me. Like yeah, the bow stops supers, so does a giant AoE nova bomb that leaves a murderous field behind

shade step. Also one shot enemies if you hit them. Theres a perk that gives you 3 arrows
-
So it's like the sunbreaker except less hammers and you can roll around?
-
It not only stops supers, but if you hit someone with the arrow in crucible it kills them. There is also an ability that allows 3 shots. That's a possible 3 kills, while still having the tether as well. Also, you basically have 2 grenades. The smoke is like an AoE grenade if you use the poison effect for it

Edited by Chapstick: 9/14/2015 2:10:06 AMI agree. I think its because hunter was the only one with two awesome supers from the beginning so people expect the third to be amazing. truth is hunter is overdue for a boring support super and now It has one. people don't understand its about to be the shittiest support class

Night stalker will be offensive support and defender defensive support.
-
Nightstalker will also be a defensive one as well with one of the perks nightstalker has, it will tether all allies together and boost defense and what not.

Edited by Chapstick: 9/14/2015 2:18:32 AMward of dawn can protect/save an entire fireteam while giving them shields/weapons of light and it can secure strategic positions against entire teams with only one person. nightstalker keeps a couple enemies in place that were going to get wrecked anyway

And can boost the attack defense and ability acquisition of allies, plus while bound enemies can't use any unique abilities and such and take increased damage. Unless you are only wearing saint 14 helm exclusively, enemies can't easily walk in and kill anyone inside the ward. Trust me, nightstalker is way better than you think.

I like it because of its support role
Support role
Lol, have you seen how fast they can walk when tethered, it insane
