What was wrong with Dinklebot? Like really, it's a stupid robot thingy that floats over your shoulder and he sounded like that in spades. I remember folks saying stuff about it early on like it was supposed to be some sort of Shakespearean blaming work of art. Some people like to say stupid stuff just to say it. Bungie had NO story to work with or for they guy to even read probably AND he's playing a robot, a blaming ROBOT. People complained and we got this mess: Corky the floating mule boy who annoys the crap out of me at every turn. Just be quiet about this already cause believe me they ARE capable of doing worse folks, don't make them prove it. All I would ask for is a toggle switch to shut the blasted thing up during play

I think you've misinterpreted the thread mate. It has nothing to do with replacing anybody but offering choices and variety for fun. Also, there WAS a story--actually a pretty good one if the rumors are true--and Dinklebot had a lot more personality and dialogue in demos back in 2013.

My bad, Knee jerk reaction to the topic in general. But yes you maybe right on that but that would be because in 2013 they actually had a plotted out storyline before the writer moved on and took his property with him. In closing, apologies for spazzing on your topic that was obviously posted with fun intent.

Lol no problem. I actually created this thread months ago but it took off again with recent events haha. But yeah, its a bummer that bungie had some issues a year before release. Would have been interesting to see what kind of a game we gotten if bungie didnt implode.
