This may be more graphic than most people are used to so be warned, I did warn you.
The walk to the armory was a quick and quiet one. The guard held his jaw close to his chest and constantly shuddered in fear as he listened to the faint footsteps directly behind him. His gapping maw was still oozing spit but the blood had stopped a bit ago. They rounded a corner and faced a blast proof door with several code pads and locks.
The footsteps behind him stopped. "Well..." The figure spoke in a rather annoyed tone. "I'm waiting."
The guard moved shakily to the code pad and typed in a series of codes. The door made a loud click and a lock moved the the side. One lock open, three to go. The guard looked at the figure with pleading eyes.
"What? To low a level to open it?..." The figure sighed. "Worthless creatures you are." He shoved him aside and places his hand on the pad. The screen flashed red and "ERROR" was written on it. The figure grunted. "Fine... Be that way."
His armor flared with sickly flames as his hand produced a thin film of the stuff that seeped into the panel. The "ERROR" suddenly flashed violently and began to glitch out. Each lock reluctantly gave way as the door opened with a sickening creak.
The figure smiled and walked in.
The guard managed to prop himself on the wall and shuffled to the opened door. He looked inside. The figure was rummaging through the weapons until he found a pair of blades. They were rather large and resembled bloody, grim saws attatched to handles. Each pommel had a locking mechanism on it as the figure stared at the blades with pride.
He held them close to him and petted the back of the blades gently. His voice cooed and had a sadistic ring to it as he spoke to them. "My poor poor babies... trapped all alone in this cold and messy place... Don't worry... Daddys here... and he's gonna make sure you are fed properly."
He grinned. He snapped the locks together and the blades were now in the shape of a crude bow without the string. They flared the sickly flame as his armor began to come to more focus and detail. His chestpiece showed more jagged spikes, his gauntlets spouted sinister blades on the elbows and fingertips, his helmet remained the same except a film of black covered his mouth to where you could just barely see his grin, a cloak appeared around him that resembled wings of a demon and his boots were now just a jet black and his shadow was cut off to the knees. This new shadow jittered and twitched every once and a while.
The guards visor suddenly lit up in warning. The message "Exotic presence detected" flashed before him. His eyes widened as he moved backwards from the door.
The figure looked at him. "Oh don't worry. I didn't forget you."
The guard quickly sprinted around the corner as his eyes pooled tear like a waterfall.
"Get back here!" The figure cried as he raced after him. The guard ran at top speed until he reached the office space. He ran inside and slammed the emergency alarm. The entire hallway light up with red lights and a loud droning sound pierced his eardrums.
He turned around to grab a gun only to find the figure standing there. His helmet looked terrifying. Three eye slots were fuming green and the black film revealed a frown on the madman's face.
"Oh... you shouldn't.. have done that." The figure snarled in rage as he grabbed the guard and dragged him outside the office. He threw him on the ground and unhinged his blades. Raising them high over his head, he glared down at the guard but paused and multiple footsteps ran in their direction.
The figure looked that way and simply grinned. "Well... I guess my babies will have din-din earlier than I thought." He snapped the blades back together and lunged at the guard.
The guard recoiled as the black smoke of an ability consumed him but vanished. He looked up to watch the figure race down the hall towards the prison cells. He almost blacked out as he saw several guards rounded the corner, shouting orders and dragging him towards saftey. His head rolled loosly as he looked down at his feet. There sat his jaw, his original shadow, and a second one, that jittered slightly and grew as time moved on.
