ESPAÑOL Tuve ese error en mi PS3. Lo intenté todo como algunos de ustedes: cable ethernet, DNS e IP fijas, incontables reinicios de mi router y mi consola, valores de fábrica... incluso FORMATEÉ (si, previo respaldo de mis guardados de juegos en un pendrive) mi PS3. Leyendo algunos posteos en estos foros y conversando con gente con el mismo problema, me di cuenta que algunos de mis amigos que se las arreglaron para obtener la actualización e instalarla tenían un PSI (proveedor de servicios de internet) distinto al mío (soy de Chile, y tengo VTR, una compañía como Verizon que es gringa). Fui a la casa de un amigo con un PSI distinto, y ¡oh sorpresa!, la bajé e instalé dentro de 6 horas (sí, mi compadre no tiene una conexión muy rápida). Por supuesto que ahora culpo mi PSI actual por los 4 días que tuve que esperar por la actualización. Es verdad, quizás Bungie no previno el gran revuelo que esta actualización haría, pero cabros, yo creo que no tienen toda la culpa, así como tampoco los de Activision. Inténtelo. ¿Que tienen que perder? DL;NL: Intenten descargar la actualización con otra compañía de internet, distinta a la de cada uno. ENGLISH I had that error in my PS3. I even FORMATTED (yes, previously backing up my game saves to a flash disk) my PS3. Reading some posts on these forums and chatting with people with the same problem, i came tom realize that some of my friends who managed to get the update and install it had a different ISP than me (i'm from Chile, and i have VTR, a company like Verizon). I went to a friend's house with a different ISP, and oh surprise! downloaded it and installed it within 6 hours (yeah, my buddy doesn't have that much of fast connection). Of course i now blame my current ISP for the 4 days i had to wait for it. It's true, maybe Bungie didn't foresought the big fuzz that this update made, but guys, i guess they don't carry all the blame, nor Activision does. You should give it at least a try. What do you have to loose? TL;DR: Try to download the update with another ISP, different than yours.
