I wish they would , my DUI count would go through the roof for all the people that smoke it and are under the opinion that it doesn't impair them. I'm already catching 1 or 2 a week as it is . I love watching them attempt to walk the line and then show them the video recording in court after they swear they should have been allowed to drive.

Let's put on our thinking caps and get ready for a lesson. Let's say about 40% of the population smokes weed, meanwhile the other 60% are getting in car wrecks and getting traffic violations and not being prosecuted with a DUI obviously. Now tell me this, of that 40% getting traffic violations and getting into wrecks, how does anyone know if that happened because they were high? There is something called a coincidence, how can any scientist calculate coincidence in a statistic that says "this" amount of people got into a wreck under the influence of weed? It's actually not possible. Its like saying, people under the influence of weed experienced more frequent Gjallahorn drops.

Lol, when a blood test only shows a high level of THC and no alcohol in their system , it falls into that category .

Edited by psRuggR: 9/13/2015 2:49:50 AMStay safe out there. Haters are gonna hate, but bitches do whatever they're told when in a gooseneck. PPCT, what fun! Driving while impaired or under the influence is a big deal. Maybe not to those that do it, but it is to the families on the other end of that accident. Flame on immature kiddie trolls, flame on. Edit: for those that think smoking won't impair you, film some reflex tests. Test your reflexes sober and then do those same tests later after the buzz has kicked in. Things such as hand-eye coordination and reaction times. Watch the vids. I don't care if people smoke, but stay home.
-
Lol suck on deez you love the law so much you enforce it
-
People that smoke it habitually are not impaired any more than a cigarette or one beer. Kids that have never smoked it before are definitely impaired by it though The shooting/ drug wars over it are more concerning though
-
Yeah I'm gonna want your badge number, last name and the department you work for.
-
F the police
-
You sound like a prick.
-
Of all the things that you could return with , that was the best you have ?
-
with , that was the best you have ?
Why?
The spaces?
For the record, I once pulled a dead 4 month old out of a crushed car that an impaired driver smoked after running a red light. Marijuana and alcohol. I'm the prick? Wake up.
-
Yeah you're a prick. You even admitted that they were also on alcohol. Well no shit their driving was impaired, they were drunk. Being high has little to do with that situation it's like saying "well this guy killed his entire family. He had pounds of meth but we found some thc in his system so let's blame it all on the pot." God I hate corrupt officials like you.
-
I really want you to reread all the statements I've made and actually find one notion of corruption in it or is that the only thing that you are able to come up with. I Love having conversations with people that simple just blurt out statements without any backing or self awareness.
-
Well let's see you tried to imply that weed was the death of that child when in reality alcohol probably played more of a role. Might not be corrupt in your line of work but it's deception which I find VERY corrupt when coming from a public official. I'm fortunate enough to live in a state where it's legal, and the worst situation I've been in was someone was too high and stopped at a green light. Never wrecked, never fendered someone, he just started stopping for a green light, then kept going as if nothing happened. I've also lost 2 family me never to drunk drivers. Hell I've been pulled over high and the problem was my tail light was out. I wasn't even swerving. So once again I'm going to ask for this. Badge number, last name, and the department you work for. I think they'd enjoy reading this.
-
They would enjoy it . We love talking about how people see the world because they aren't neck deep in all that nastiness. As far as the request for my information, you've seen to many movies. No one would ever provide that to a someone on the Internet.

Edited by Seth, Knower of Things: 9/13/2015 2:58:29 AMThere's something called private messaging. If you're scared I guess you don't have to do it, but trust me I've seen some of the "nastiness" considering my mom was a meth dealer and tried selling me for drugs twice. Then she was shot and killed about 2 years ago right in front of me. So yeah, I think if anything I've seen worse. I know how bad drugs are, most are really bad. but pot is the least dangerous by a LONG mile. Yeah it's not completely safe to drive high, hell it's not safe to drive while smoking a cigarette. But I'd rather you be putting more of your law enforcement efforts towards pedophiles and murderers rather than stopping someone who smoked a joint before heading to work. Think you can do that?
-
Now we have come to an end pass . I'm sorry for your loss . We handle all of it . If you read about it , I've pretty much seen it. It's sad that you've had to endure what you've had to endure . Rather you realize it or not , there is not a day that my fellow officers and I don't go to work with the goal of trying to prevent such losses. We do this even with all the negativity being sent our way .
-
I understand that and I'm grateful for it as well. But I want you and your fellow officers to understand that some people use it for reasons other than just to get baked. I smoke it because if I didn't, I don't think I'd still be here. I'll openly admit I smoke, but I also go to college, work, and take my girlfriend out twice a week. I just want you to understand some people need it. Now I don't need it right now but 2 years ago I was close to suicide and if I didn't smoke the day I did, I honestly think I'd be dead right now. I don't want someone to go to jail for what your department would see as possession of an illegal substance. When to them, it was the medicine that could've helped them through something. I have to agree. Driving high isn't safe, but I'm a hypocrite saying that. However, I've never wrecked, never crossed lanes (I'm a very far right driver anyway) ect. So in my experience I can't say it's 100% gonna make someone crash, but it'll definitely increase their chances of it. I also apologize for how I originally responded to your comment. My teen angst got the better of me.
-
Just be safe out there and good luck.
-
How am I corrupt again ? You know how many wrecks I worked where marijuana was the sole impairment . Are you really that naive?
-
What? You asked me of that was the best I could do. So I went back and tried to improve. I was just using your constructive criticism to improve my comments. You sound like a hero who can be a prick. I agree that driver is horrible. Some people can't control themselves. And that is scary. There is no excuse for a death to happen thay way. Doesn't change the fact that laughing at people makes you a prick though.
-
At what time did I comment about laughing at some one ?
-
Watching someone try to walk in a straight line must be pretty funny. Cause I don't have the balance to do that normally. The popo came into our school in high school once. Ran us all through dui shit, as a deterrent. I feel on my face at that part. Just so you know. Making assumptions when someone can just be uncordinated makes you a prick.
-
I can tell your young still. If I have someone walk the line it's because they've already displayed several signs of impairment . There are over 50 indicators so that you are aware of it for next time. I don't make assumptions. It's a lot of experience and knowing what to look for . But hey, it's easy for you to make that statement without knowing everything you need to know . I don't mind at all .
-
You're very touchy.
