What game did you love when you were young, online only, excluding destiny

Starcraft Original. That was my game for many years. Easily played over 20,000 games. The fourm they had was as active as this one & they had a league created with cash prizes for people who placed top 10 in the ranks. ( never made top 10 but one year I was top 30 out of 1000's ) I tried to get in too starcraft 2 but after taken so many years off PC games ( got x box and a ps3 ) I could never really get back in too it.

Online gaming wasn't around when I was young. We used to have to walk 4 miles both ways uphill through blinding snow and ice to play Pac-Man in an arcade.

I was 16 or 17 at the time. I think the first game I actually played over the internet was either Quake or Ultima Online.
