What game did you love when you were young, online only, excluding destiny

We didn't have online but my favorite was teenage mutant ninja turtles for the original Nintendo entertainment system. Me and all my buddies from the neighborhood would be in my living room taking turns passing the controller.

When I was young, we didn't have online games, we had Atari. And if the game wasn't playing/loading right, you pulled the cartridge, blew the dust out of it, and put it back into the console.

Counter Strike Source - I always used to play it while listening to Pearl Jam: Ten.

Counterstrike and Socom really hooked me into fps games. Iv enjoyed other shooters before that (goldeneye) but planing strategies with friends and watching our plan fall into place really hooked me. That a huge reason why iv enjoyed games like Socom/rainbow6 over run and gun games like CoD.

Online gaming did not exist for me until COD:MW. I didn't have a gaming computer.

Not going to lie dude. When I was growing up, I didn't have a pc, nor steady Internet past dial up. I had a console usually. Started with nes and worked my way through most upgrades in technology. Me and my buddy obsessively played Starcraft 64 together, so I'm going with that. We had a great many fun times together playing that game.

1 ReplyI'm too old for this list D: Young for me is like NES up to PS1/Xbox/Dreamcast (high school). Halo 2 was my first online experience and probably still my favorite to date as I logged about 11,000+ games. All my childhood was spent offline with games such as Super Mario, Sonic, Crash Bandicoot, Zelda, and other good classic (retro) games.

Online gaming wasn't huge when I was super young and for a time almost all the console online games were mature and I couldn't play them. But one I really got attached too was cod4, I made so many great friends on that game
