To the idiots who say grimoire is only ghosts...
Let me clear up the grimoire=dead ghosts claim.
Ghost account for about 5 grimoire each. Some Ghosts count for 10 or 15 though.
There are 77 dead ghosts.
77x5=385. Let's just round that up to approximately 550. Fair enough?
Only 550 score out of a possible 3620 (xb) or 3665 (ps) can be given to you by finding dead ghosts. While that is a substantial gain, it is not the key factor for a high grimoire.
You say Grimoire doesn't show skill? Let me brake it down.
Where did the other 3,000 points come from? It shows you have played a variety of PvE and PvP content, and that you have done them [u]multiple[/u] times. It shows commitment to the game. Whether that is a good or bad thing is up for debate.
Now, grimoire means, for the most part, [u]experience[/u]. You do not need a high grimoire score to be good. You can have a natural talent at the game.
But:
talent+experience=skill
When talent is refined with experience, that makes a player skilled.
[i][b]Being able to analyze the situation and go where you are needed without anyone having to tell you to. [/b][/i]
That is why grimoire, to me, means skill.
[b]Usually[/b] anyway. I will play with anyone, it doesn't matter to me. But, I will prefer people who have a higher score. I feel I can trust them to know what is going on.

Before patch 2.0 I had 3560 grim, and I never lost to a team with higher grim than me in trials.

Grimoire just shows how much you've completed, not how good you are. I could care less about it.

Grimoire is a wild example of rhyme over reason and da reason I roll deep in da streets. It's like when dey see me rollin' n dey automatically be hatin'. I tell dem my grimoire and it's like *skreech* and dey do a total 180. How many times you be creepin' on da late night tip tryin' to get a McDouble juss to have dem rollas try to put you in dem chains? 1 ReplyI had a grimore score of like 2700 after beating all the pve content on hard, I've just recently started to care about grimore since there hasn't been much to do and ive started to take an interest in crucible which is where I'm missing the most points. So just becuase someone doesn't have a 3300+ grimore doesn't mean they are not experienced.
