I'm talking about DECREASING it. Making it LESS bright. Not getting rid of it.
After the stupid illogical DAMAGE DROPOFF on SNIPERS.
I believe damage dropoff should not exist in snipers. And the scope reflection should be decreased aswell.
I'm not a bad sniper. I'm decent. I just think it will be fair and maybe balance special weapons since shotgund still rule the crucible.
P.S.
NOT putting a "results" option. Make up your mind.
Also, i have a strong feeling that shotgunners will put "no" because they love it when they cheese and not get sniped, since they can't let go of their crutches.
Edit: so far, just as I suspected. Keep on those crutches, scrubs.
Edit 3: Some people have said that the NLB has the flare. Didn't think of it until now. what the actual f*ck? Lol

NLB and P&T should have reduced glare, not totally gone, as would be too OP, but reduced.

If the red light is on at all times like it is now, then no they need to fix it. Something tells me you are one of the guys I end up counter-sniping too. Always fun sniping at a big red glowing dot.

I agree it should be dimmed down its so obvious when someone's sniping way too obvious but you are right the weak that need the shotgun crutch will Not allow it I mean I use my shotty more than my sniper but I'd still wouldn't mind if I got sniped out and couldn't see that giant bright red dot

I actually think they should change the colour to green. Still noticeable but not like a big arrow pointing "here I am"

On No Land Beyond yes. There should none as it has iron sights.

I think its far. On some maps its hard to see the sniper so it helps spotting them. It also helps against campers alot since they cant sit still scoped in and waiting for someone to enter and dont see them.

Just dont scope in unless you are ready to shoot. This keeps your light off. If you stay scoped in you normally suck at sniping anyway, and everyone can see you glint. Pull in when ready to shoot and they may see the light for the second before they get domed.

I can't understand how getting up close and shotgunning someone is a crutch but hiding on the edge of a map and sniping from a great distance where your nice and safe isn't a crutch man up and get in the mix of the battle

Nah tbh sniping takes skill but is a little broken imo. Like there should be no quickscopes and higher zooms, because some are just high powered scouts. If shotguns get slapped on the rist for crossmapping, snipers don't need low glare.

As a sniper, I feel like the weapon class is strong enough. Plus it helps you know when counter snipers are trying to get you.

It should only reflect after a second, to give the sniper the chance to have his hiding spot mean something but still give the other a chance to react if not killed instantly. Having it reflect immediately and so brightly kinda is a bit too obvious.

I'd prefer it to be replaced with a bullet trail. The glare is too dead of a giveaway IMO, but the bullet trail reveals campers but doesn't make all snipers them fear ADSing.

I snipe and we need the reflection to stay or it's too easy to camp. Falloff is bs though.
