Does that ever cross anyone's mind?
Does it bother you that when your time ends, which is inevitable, you may cease to exist
Or
Death} Why would I fear something that only exists when I do not?

Edited by Chapstick: 11/4/2015 2:00:25 PMIt's inevitable so why should I care I will do my best to fck with people wherever I end up tho
-
No, in fact I have plans to throw myself as a distraction or attempt to seize back control in events of: -school shooting -plane hijack -bank robbery -work robbery -assault I see openly -etc. Its not that I don't value my life, I just value the lives of others more. If it comes to it, I'll save someone else before myself.
-
I'm not afraid. In fact I'm going to embrace it out of curiosity.

Just how like if I go skydiving and my shoot does not open I'm going to enjoy the view and plus it a instant death I don't want to die by bleeding out by a gun shout or being tortured to death link

No. It's bound to happen, so expect it anytime. It could happen in 10 minutes, ten years, or 50. You'll never know.

Yah, I really want to see humanity progress. I want to see us colonize other worlds, and meet alien life. We could create a vast alliance of intelligent life, sharing knowledge and recourses! We could aid other less intelligent species in survival, and stop an species that is bent on conquering everyone!
-
No because death is the only thing that you can be certain is going to occur and you have no chance of stopping it
-
I'm afraid of the way I die not really death
-
Do not be afraid of what only exist, when you do not..
-
Everyone is afraid of dying death comes for us all
-
Yeah I am afraid of dying. I'll Never get to see my friends or family that are alive. And I'm scared of being judged in Heaven. I'm a Christain but I've done some bad things. :(
-
I look forward to death. It's going to be an experience. It will be my last experience so I'll definitely save it for the end.

Edited by Lethenza: 11/4/2015 12:48:00 PMI came into this world yelling and kicking, covered in someone else's blood.
I wanna go out the same way.

That's a marine corps saying.

Not actually true about me, but sounds badass.
Its not death that scares me, it's not doing anything worthwhile before I die that does.
-
Had a conversation about something like this before. It's not so much the concept of death as it is inevitable, but the concept of whether it was all for naught. I'm more afraid that there is nothing beyond life; that there is no afterlife. If you apply the whole idea that what we perceive determines actuality, then there couldn't be an afterlife. And more than anything, that is what terrifies me.
-
No point in being afraid of an inevitably.

This will not make you fear death, but this would make you wish you could die: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scaphism

To me, thinking about stuff like that takes away the freedom of life, because your always contemplating the end
-
"To fear death is to live life in constant fear of anything over the horizon."
-
No. But I'm afraid of dieing without having lived. I have too much to see and too much to do before then, so I dont care if I'm struck by lightning or shot through the heart, I'm not giving up.

Hmm tough question. Why don't you ask me again when I'm dead
-
I'm not scared to die, I'm a little bit scared of what comes after.

Only how I die. Death is inevitable, I already accepted that. ~TheGreatNike
