Does that ever cross anyone's mind?
Does it bother you that when your time ends, which is inevitable, you may cease to exist

Death} Why would I fear something that only exists when I do not?

2 RepliesPeople that say they aren't afraid of death are spouting bullshit. No one wants to die, and many will fight until their last breath to keep death from taking them. Death will always be terrifying as no one can be certain what exists (if anything) after we die.

No I do not fear it but I fear how I will die. What helps is my $1,000,000 life insurance policy I pay for. Knowing when I pass I can change someone's life is very gratifying.

On the scale of the universe we live in, we might as well all be dead already. Our lives are minutely short. But that allows for iteration and progress, so we just get to be envious of the future.

I used to. But then I try to imagine what it was like before I was born. It didn't bother me that I wasn't alive then, and it won't when I die. You won't even know you're dead, and you won't know you ever existed. So there's no sense in worrying.

Yes i am afraid. If I do die, I hope I have a chance to say goodbye to my friends and ask out my crush. If she says yes, then i wont die alone. If she says no, at least i dont have to be embarrassed for long...
