Does that ever cross anyone's mind?
Does it bother you that when your time ends, which is inevitable, you may cease to exist
Or
Death} Why would I fear something that only exists when I do not?
-
Anyone who says no is a liar. I bet if someone broke into your house with a machete or gun right now you would be scared.
-
A little afraid of the dying process, not of being dead. Dying: I hope it's quick and doesn't hurt in any way. Being dead: I hope it's not just nothing (erased from existence) and there's an afterlife.

Edited by Zanhattan: 9/12/2015 7:38:27 PMKind of, but not exactly.. I'm afraid of how I will die. Not of being dead. If I were to go to sleep and not wake up, I'd be okay with that. At least I wouldn't have to deal with problems anymore. I won't go out of my way to kill myself, though.

I don't think I am but I've never been in a situation that threatens my life.
-
My theory is that when you die, you soul gets transfers to another body to live again
-
I'm completely confident nothing happens after death. It's like before you were born. Nothing. And to answer your question, no I'm not worried. I wasn't worried that I wasn't conscious before being alive, why be worried to return to that state. You'll have no idea you're dead anyway. And you'll have no idea you were alive. Nothingness. Enjoy life while you got it, no one gets out alive.

Anybody who is religious is scared of dying. That's why they believe a fairy tale that they live forever.
-
I had no qualms of how I was before I was born. I'll have no qualms when I die.
-
I'll be dead, and the dead don't worry.
-
No, only people who aren't living their life to the fullest fear death. And ofcourse there is nothing after, do you remember before you were born? No you don't because our conciousness is born and dies with us.
-
Sometimes that shit gives me panic attacks, sometimes it doesn't.
-
Thank you for this great feedback at 2 am.. It doesn't torment me daily, death,... But when it does come up late at night or after a certain movie, it bothers me to think, am I the only one who trips out on this whole life thing..
-
I think anyone who says they aren't afraid of dying is bsing. People who believe in Heaven and can't wait to see their lost loved ones will end up panicking and nearly shitting themselves when they think they are fixing to die. People are always going to have some fear of the unknown.

Currently.... no

I just want to beat all of my video games first.

Nope. At first when you first discover death, it's terrifying. When you realise it's an inevitability you can't afford, I accepted it and learnt to live life to the fullest.
-
Nope.

No, I'm not scared of dying. I'm scared of dying and not leaving anything behind. I don't like he idea of not being remembered in 80 years after my death

Edited by AstroSloth: 9/12/2015 7:18:46 AMI don't know about being afraid of death, but the unknown after life terrifies me. It's not something that will influence my decisions (unless it's a stupid one that would get me killed) but it can scare me when I specifically think about it. The thought that I would stop learning. Have unanswered questions. Leave behind things that I regret. Those scare me.
-
Yes and No, yes, I'm afraid of death, but I'm also not afraid because I believe in God; and I believe that I will go to Him when I die.
-
Yeah, that thought rears it's ugly head occasionally.
-
Well I've wonder before, but I'm a firm believer in Jesus Christ and I will go to heaven and live forever, happily
-
No but I don't want to because I'd miss my GF

We are simply sparks waiting to return to the earth. Everything you are or have ever been is in your brain. Once your brain stops receiving blood and oxygen, the last of the lightning in your body escapes. Everything is recycled and the universe sustains itself. You are but a small component.

No why? Death is a natural thing when u think about it we are dying slowly everyday, so why worry it's only natural ppl die all the time
