Does that ever cross anyone's mind?
Does it bother you that when your time ends, which is inevitable, you may cease to exist
Or
Death} Why would I fear something that only exists when I do not?
-
Well, I don't feel so, and I don't currently see a reason for me to.

-
In which way, burning alive yes
-
I like my cloths their original color, but I'm not afraid to dye them red or yellow.
-
Nope.
"I'd rather burn up, than fade away."
-
Yes. It's natural to be afraid of death.
-
Dying naturally, I'm ok with. My life ending without having any time to realise is bloody horrifying to me though.
-
I don't tend to fear things I can't control. That said, death by screwing up seems terrifying.
-
Its not the years of your life. Its the life of your years. When i pass..its not about me. Its about the legacy i left behind. One is more famous dead than alive.
-
All the time. It's a scary thought and anyone who tells you it's not is lying. Leaving a legacy, making a name is all well and good but the thought of simply not existing, absolute nothingness is scary. Lately for me however I think I've squandered the gift of life so to speak. Made some bad decisions, in trouble financially, emotionally drained and just feeling defeated I think I'd be better off not existing. Thought about suicide but then whatever debt I have gets passed to my family and I couldn't do that to them. It would mean I've only brought them grief in life and in my passing. Make a long post short, yes I think about it more often than I'd like.
-
What's more terrifying, not going anywhere when you die, or spending eternity in one place.
-
I would be more afraid of living for ever here on earth

I am not afraid of dying. I am afraid of how I will die. Hopefully in my sleep at an old age before I need diapers lol
-
Its not dying that scares me, it's not making a difference before I do that does.
-
-
I'm pretty sure everyone is. I'm a Christian and I'm afraid of dying. I'm afraid of dying not what's on the other side though.
-
No I'm afraid of immortality.
-
Yeah, a little bit
-
-
My guess is, When you go to sleep and can't remember what you dreamt about or if you dreamt at all, that's what non existence must feel like.
-
Nah. I might be afraid of how I die though.
-
It does mine. I can't even imaging what it's like as nothing. I wouldn't have memories. I wouldn't have thought, or images, or anything. It makes me a bit sick to my stomach.
-
Edited by Bofeious: 9/15/2015 1:10:53 AMAre you scared of going to sleep? No difference! Done it twice now apparently! but to me was no different than than any other operation I'd had Cept the cracked ribs! :(
-
Lol why would anyone be afraid of dying? I mean if it was a painful death then I guess you could be afraid but it just happens why would you care it will happen anyway. It could happen anyplace and anytime...like maybe tonight or tomorrow? Maybe in a month..maybe you will find me waiting for you in a dark alley..the world may never know.
-
Just find comfort that the world won't suffer when your life ends... It's moves and continues
