Metric is where it's at. You could not get drunk without the metric system. All liquor is measured in liters. Which incidentally I was able to do with Hunter and Depp and Hunter's Aspen sheriff friend in Louisville many moons ago. It was incredible. Long live the the metric system.
-
You're right. I don't utilize the metric system, here-to-for I can not get drunk... I'm gonna try saying that tonight to the officer that pulls me over for "not-drunk driving". Thanks pal! You just did me wonders!
-
That sounds amazing
-
No its not
-
Yes it is.
-
How so?
-
Many ways. Google "why scientists use the metric system". I actually prefer feet and inches when measuring height and pounds for weight. Everything else metric.
-
Same and I'm Canadian!
-
I'll do ya a solid. Instead of telling you to look up something to back up my claim (bad debating) I'll post this for you to look at http://www.bwmaonline.com/Imperial%20Origins.htm

Hah! That's actually a good read. That dude does not like metric! Even calls it sexist lol.
-
That guy loathes the metric system. I don't have a problem with it, just American so I like standard
-
Scientists use the metric system while engineers use standard. (In america anyway)
-
1. Wayyyy easier 2. We actually use it instead of inches in school/college 3. Most of the world uses it
-
1. Not easier 2. In school you learn both 3. So because the rest of the world does it that makes it better?
-
How is using 1/8 and 1/16 easier than out of 10? And if we use it with the rest of the world, we won't have to convert anything.

http://www.bwmaonline.com/Imperial%20Origins.htm This guy gives some pretty good examples
