Greetings! also, TGIF.
Today we'll discuss $20 for emotes, and tacos.
Whenever I think of money, I think of tacos. It's a very easy way to think "is that worth buying?" For example, are those shoes worth 100 tacos? The answer is no, I'd rather wear $5 generic shoes WHILE EATING 100 TACOS.
This brings us to the $20 Collectors Edition Digital Upgrade.
Imagine all of the dancing you've done in Destiny. All the times you've waved at someone you quick scoped. All the times you've had an ether chest pointed out to you. All the times you've sat on your friends ghost after you pushed him off the cliff in VoG.
After I thought about this, and remembered all of those glorious moments, I came to the conclusion that now I need 20 tacos. The new emotes do seem worth 20 tacos, and so does 20 tacos. The only logical thing I can do now, is buy the new emotes, and 20 tacos.
TTK will certainly be better while eating the tacos and dancing in the tower. It'd be nice if Bungie could give us a taco emote, shader, and class item, though. I would THROW TACOS AT MY SCREEN FOR THE TAKEN TACO COLLECTORS EDITION. Something you should bring to the marketing team, Cozmo.
Don't let other people tell you how to spend your tacos. If new emotes are worth their weight in tortilla, go for it! If they aren't, more tacos to ya.
This post was inspired by my being at Taco Bell right now and some other post belittling people that bought the CE.
Edited by Andrenden: 9/12/2015 12:35:13 AMI saw the sprinkler and I started making jokes about throwing money at the screen as Luke Smith said we would if we were to see them. Then I saw... Whatever the hell Warlocks is... And I made the joke once again. Then I saw the hammer dance and I actually threw my wallet at the screen. I'm now actually leveling the Titan I had to offset my two warlocks JUST so I can hammer dance.

Well said...My old roomate and I also had our own delicious crypto-currency. We practiced Whoppernomics. And only at Whopper Weds prices was our currency set. If you are looking for more Taco in your gaming life, play Marvel Puzzle quest...everyday I get one Taco unlock, 2 if I have the essential character of the day to participate in the other game.

Dang it now I want tacos.
-
I use the taco method wherever I go now. This is a way of change, a direction I needed in my life for so long.

Considering I paid only 15 for the 80 edition that included this 20 package, I think this topic should be dead by now. It only takes a little brain power to figure out how to save money on something u want. Has everyone forgot about game trade ins..... seems like the move for the cheapasses of the world.

I feel u man. Tacos are a beautiful creation.

Ok here are my two cents on the matter, Let me start off by saying that I make way more money than any average household. Also, this means that I earn my money and it has cost sweat and lots of efforts. Now by saying that I'm gratefully wealthy doesn't mean I'm going to he stupid and waste money on things that are overpriced. If you own TDB and HoW DLCs than you literally only need to spend $40. Now in order to get the new emotes and shaders you have to pay an extra $40...that's just a rip off. I rather pay $50 on one night at the movies than $40 on some dumb dance emotes! Don't get me wrong I'm the type of person that I would pay anything for my entertainment no matter the price but you must have common sense too. I can easily say it's worth paying $40 for TTK because it brings new maps, patrols, Raid, Strikes and other new things. Now that's worth spending $40. But how in hell does some emotes suddenly cost $40 which is the same price as the TTK DLC? That's beyond me. It's not that I can't pay $40, it's the fact that Bungie or Activision are being greedy! Some people are just blind or their money doesn't cost nothing to earn and they careless how much companies price their products. Then again I do understand it's each individual's money and they can do whatever they want with their money, I'm not judging precisely people who want to buy emotes for $40. All I'm saying is that this matter is not about money it's about the direction certain companies take in order to make money from literally nothing. BTW, I bought the $40 edition TTK since I'm not wasting another $40 on literally nothing, like emotes. Emotes should've been included to be more honest. Now if they would offer more extra content like maps or strikes or Raids apart from the ones we're getting from TTK regular edition...than for sure I would through money at my screen no matter the price. And that's all I have to say about this matter.

Taconomics never lie.

I don't really like tacos, or emotes.

Taken Taco....... I love it

Great logic but a bit flawed Tacos arrive like a crispy golden promise of sensory delight like a soon to come bungie dlc Then tacos Leave you with a sudden rush and that brief down low fiery pain of remorse which is soon gone While bungie leaves with that long lingering burn that eventually you get used to and then suddenly seem to crave more of in 3-4 months

You definitely a fat ass. Approved.
