Corrective Measure

Anyone else notice that the ammo capacity is now capped at like 58/300? This was one of my favorite Machine Guns, because of its 100 round clip size. The perk is still there, but it remains a 58-shot clip. Anyone else see this? I just don't remember this being part of the update.

  • Yep, in the craptastic 2.0 Nerf, oops I mean patch, among the many "balances" field scout has been adjusted to only grant increased reserve ammo not magazine capacity. I've said it once and I'll say it again........... All they care about is how much time we spend playing the game. All the large ammo capacity machine guns that we used to use like bullet spewing chainsaws now take twice as much to kill. Example.....my once 50 bullet filed scout mag Jolders Hammer could drop an axis Minotaur in less than one drum....now by the time I use the 28 bullets now in the mag to drop it's shield, a little bit of its health it's time to reload, allowing its shield to recharge and find some cover. Now I have to whittle the shield down again, and reload again. What I used to be able to kill in about 8-10 seconds now takes almost a minute!!! Times that by how many minotaurs in an event? Plus everything else? Same with the shotgun Nerf, they were fine in PvE, two or three shots to drop a shielded major, now I have to empty the tube, back off and go back at him the second time. All they do with each balance is increase game time. I don't mind the extra challenge but the things they do are ridiculous
