Title says it all. Before you start playing our beloved game, lets all take 30 seconds of silence for the people we lost on that day.
Close your eyes and just be silent for only 30 seconds. You can do it. Be respectful.
Edit: lot of hate for some odd reason. To the people saying George Bush did 9/11 you're missing the point of this post. Its to mourn the one's we have lost. My grandfather died on that day and I will miss him and mourn for him. He died in the second building. :,( i miss his smile.

This day is always depressing...... It's 9/11 and my birthday today. Worst birthday day ever
-
I knew there'd be hateful and insensitive comments to OP's post. Seriously, you all that did this, why respond? Does it get you off in some weird perverted way? The only solace I take in this is the post will be met with ninja justice soon. I for one will and do remember the sacrifices made on 9-11 and the years that followed as we tracked down the murderous cowards that helped plot it. God bless America!
-
The level of disrespect (probably from people who weren't alive during 9/11) is crazy. As a former Marine, I hope all you shit heads out there realize one day how 9/11 affected our world
-
As an American I don't know why this is even a thing anymore. The only thing we get from never forgetting are some funny ass memes and a bunch of butthurt soft people. It happened 14 years ago like shit people die everyday and America has killed more innocent people with bombs for oil so just shut up. The Holocaust was a more sad event and I don't see us #neverforget that. Let's start a #getoverit so we can move forward instead of remembering the past. In that case let's remember slaves and how we came and took a country that wasn't ours in the first place. #neverforget this isn't our land and the world doesn't revolve around us.

Man those gb did 9/11 is really stupid
-
There are hundreds of events more tragic than 9/11 that have occurred throughout recent history, many of which barely any people know about. 9/11 is talked about so much because the government wants us to hate terrorists.
-
More people died in the holocaust and you want to remember 911.?
-
Did you take a moment of silence for everyone who died during ww2,because of dictatorship, famine, etc?
-
Edited by VSeconds: 9/11/2015 11:26:48 AMYeah like those 3k people died it matters, 2 million died because of them, They deserve no respect, Everyday there were thousands innocent died in some point if history, Why are the ones from 9/11 special?
-
All of these people need to get over it. If you lost a relative 15 years ago, you should not be depressed. Same goes for this. Get over it.
-
Very scary day.
-
Let us never forget the American lives that died at the hands of Islamic extremists. True Americans will never forget the declaration of war against our nation.

I was waking up and getting ready for school when I walked in to the living room. News was on all channels and As I watched the second plane hit the tower I turned to my parents and asked 'What movie is this?' Because at 11 I couldn't fathom the concept of terrorism as my first conclusion. On 2009 I enlisted in the U.S. Army and was trained in how to operate a RQ-7B UAV; in 2012 I deployed to Afghanistan where I engaged and destroyed the enemy. Today as I get ready for work, I reflect on how this event has shaped so many aspects of my life. I am no longer an Active Duty Soldier, but my values and commitment to my fellow American will never end. #Freedom #Remembering #ComeAtMe

Why is this in #Destiny again?
-
Hate to break it to you but the shit was planned by our own government . plenty of conspiracy theories that you would have to look into for yourself for the truth. It was and apparently still is a very heartbreaking moment for our country but for a people to constantly remind themselves of the pain and to ignore that their government was behind these acts isn't good. I mean we have been over in their country for along time and I'm sure most of the Americans have no idea why we were there in the first place. Why we had to borrow money and now owe our lives to other countries. It's sad and im sorry to those who lost loved ones on that day but to constantly talk about it every year on that same day will not help anything. Maybe people just want to be left alone.
-
Oh yeah what a crisis what a bad day for america Oh whats that? . . HIROSHIMA MOTHER-blam!-ER
-
I was sitting in auto mechanics class when it happened. The teacher took us out of shop brought us back to the room and turned the tv on. He didn't say anything. He just watched too. I joined the army a few years later and now im a disabled vet myself. If it wasn't for my family I would re enlist today.

Why? Nobody takes a moment of silence for the Holocaust. Or Hiroshima. Pearl Harbor? No. It shouldn't be any difference for this. Quit making a big deal out of it.
let the hate flow
-
So this guy just asks that we all be respectful to an event that happened 14 years ago, and everyone loses their shit
-
Lets not forget everyone that unnecessarily died previous to that event and the people that died after that event. 2 buildings and 3,000+ people on a date shouldn't overshadow the many that die and aren't publicised all over the world. Treat every loss equally.
-
Now... Here's a story. So my uncle worked in the twin towers his boss sent him down to get coffee as he was in the elevator the plane crashed luckily he was on a close to the bottom. He lived and that's how coffee saves lives.
-
Wow a lot of trolls. I'm Canadian and I try to watch the replay of 9/11 every year, it's never easy to watch. Sad sad day.
-
Let's all remember those who died or lost loved ones on 9/11, stop the bickering and play Destiny! Life is too short to argue about who's right or wrong.
-
Although I do respect the event, and I'm in shock that it happened, I'm kinda disappointed in the people who respond when someone disagrees or thinks their minds. How are you remembering 9/11 if you're telling a muslim to kill themselves?(heard from another user)
