With the release of TTK each class has all 3 burns available to them. So i was thinking they should start having a bigger impact in the game.
An easy one could be just a simple bounty to "complete 5 strikes with your void subclass" or if you wanted to make it more difficult you have to defeat a boss with a certain burn like "defeat Valus with an Arc attack."
Speaking of strikes a new mechanic could be energy walls (not unlike certain shields) that require you to use a specific burn attack/weapon to break it down. Or areas where if you don't have your solar subclass equipped you take burning damage.
One thing that would completely change the game (probably be OP but that's the fun part). Let us combine our supers for different results I.e. If a defender threw down a ward of dawn and inside a bladedancer starts his super at the same time it creates an electrified ward of dawn
Or If a void walker throws his void BOMB with vortex down and a gunslinger shoots one of his shots into it it will explode (name idea "supernova")
Maybe use artifacts to allow this so it can't be used all the time.

TL:DR-You have something better to do than read a few paragraphs? It's just ideas on burn uses like the title says.

Have you seen the subclass quests with strike specific challenges? For example, the bladedancer one is kill 3 majors in one strike with arc blade.
