Who else thinks Nolan sounds terrible?!!
Dinklage was sooooo much better! People moaning that Dinklage underplayed it, but it was subtlety he was playing, as he is an ai ROBOT after all.
I know Nolan makes more sense as its his business and he's more readily available but now it sounds so cheep and over done. He sounds like he's permanently questioning himself. Ha
Peter Dinklage was awesome! If it ain't broke don't fix it!
But all the fussy childish players out there who thought "well it could be better", nagged away endlessly at Bungie, and Dinklage (which pissed me off) until we all get stuck with this shit "performance" (if that's what you wanna call it).
And now all the people who were amongst the bitchy little whine a lots that caused this mess, have realised that they should've been happy with a good thing and not chased after the mythical "perfect".
At least give us a setting to switch between the two voices for year 1 content so we have a choice!!!

EDIT - Wow THANKS for all the support guys!!! This post is blowing up! I had no idea that (near) EVERYONE else felt as strongly about this as me.
Thank you to all Guardians, keep the replies coming and maybe Bungie will add the voice toggle switch so we can have our little Dinklebot back for year one content.

I dunno... I think that once we get to NorthBot-specific dialogue, it may be better...We're all just so used to Dinklebot, that any deviation just sounds wrong...Though, I do admit that [i]some[/i] knowledge of what was happening at certain times [i]might[/i] have benefited the performance somewhat... I was kinda expecting Desmond Miles or Nathan Drake when they said Nolan North was coming, I have to admit... I think he's cheeky. Dinklebot always tried to be funny, but came off sounding dry and dull. Nolanbots voice fits the 'personality' ghost had much better IMO

So I thought this at first, then played a bunch of missions. The voice fits the ghosts personality. That being said, Dinklebot was better.

I would have preferred if Dinklage's lines were left as is and then a change for the Taken Kings lines to show that the Ghost was adapting it speech patterns to be more human and empathetic but this is absolute trash. They rushed to do this, Troy Baker would have sounded more masculine at least, this sounds like young Nathan Drake, eww. Most people didn't even get Dinklage's attitude, but it matched the tone of the game, he was basically apprehensive about everything and a little standoffish. The Ghost has information and was directed to find you specifically, so 1. it doesn't know anything much about you and is entrusted with helping the Traveler and hell you're dead, if you died once already why should it think your capable of helping it accomplish it's task? Bungie should have varied starting points for Guardians in that one area outside it could have multiple places you could have been found, ugh they just don't think about things. If many of us had slightly different origin points it would lend a little more credibility to a story about just how you met your last moments, I take it you were not a Guardian in your previous life, when will your history be explained remains to be seen, for now we have bigger things to deal with than the story of you.

I think he's awful and just came to post this, " I cannot stand the new voice of the Ghost, all the old dialog is contrived now and completely lacks character. I read up on this guy and was very excited and I actually feel bad for saying all this but he's terrible."
