So it's been announced that fallout 4's season pass is $30 yes that's for all the DLC they will ever do for Fallout 4 vs one Destiny DLC called the taken king which is $40 or $63 if you are in the UK (piss take Bungie)
How can any fanboy defend this? just admit you only defend this because you were sheeple enough to already pre order it and buy into the hype, no DLC is worth $40! never mind $63.
Even the season pass for The last of us was around £15/ $19.99.
Another game which had great DLC and is triple A was bioshock infinite and it's season pass was $19.99.
Notice a trend of what is reasonable ? no other company (even with the most loved and solid games) dares to be so ridiculous and anti consumer as Bungie/activision is with destiny you guys are beyond reasonable.
Destiny has the most overpriced DLC around we get SEASON PASSES CHEAPER FROM TRIPLE A DEVS!

Give this thread a thumbs up to get this across to bungie etc.

Talk about a rip off, how's about Assassins Creed BF. Think it was $25 for one dlc and a couple shitty maps for MP no one played. If something's not right for you to pay, kudos. I enjoy the game and I'm not hurting for money. Also getting the fallout pass too
-
How can we even compare yet? What is the point of this? fallout 4 isn't even out yet but your trying to value it's DLC already.
i bet you back in 2013 people were valuing destiny's DLC
-
GTAV wins. They gave the people a massive game and on top of it all the DLC has been free. And are still adding more next month with free mode and so on. Now thats how u do it. I spent 60 dollars to get GTAV and continue to play it thanx to their constant updates.

Fallout 4 FTW?

Edited by rocademiks: 9/10/2015 3:45:31 PMWell I don't think those other games cost as much as it did to create Destiny my man. I've read before that this game was in the neighborhood of $500 Million. Dude. That's a lot of cash. They need to make that back somehow you know?. Bungie/Activision at the end of they day are businesses. And the logic of business is to make a profit. This is and will be for the next 10 years how they make their profitable more. Plus, this game has entire facilities full of brilliant minds, employed to keep adding and maintaining this game. Think about it. If you where one of those guys sitting in a cubicle helping to make this game what it is , and what it's going to be, wouldn't you want a little bit of job security ? You know that the gaming industry it infamously known for doing massive lay offs once a project is completed and shipped right? Let them be, keep those people employed, keep them providing for their family's. PEOPLE make this game, not little magical elf's in trees.

Pfft, fallout 4 has free dlc called mods.
I bet I'll still get more playtime out of destiny, because social experience.
-
i dont see why people are stressing over $40. it is chump change, and if you are willing to waste $30 for a season pass, why stress over paying $40 for something we can get hundreds of hours of gameplay on.
-
I've got this thing called money. last time I checked, $40 was not a lot. Forty dollars can't even pay for a nice date night with baby girl. The hundreds of hours we will get from TK is probably going to give us our money's worth.
-
It's a game Boom defended
-
Why do you have to be a fanboy or a sheeple to want to play TTK? Why do you think that $40 is too much? Just because another company is charging less for their DLC? Lots of companies charge less than $30 too, so does that mean the fallout DLC will only be purchased by fanboys and sheeple? I enjoy Destiny and I'm looking forward to TTK. $40 seems like a fair fprice to me. I'd be happy if it were less, but I'd also be happy if Netflix and my cellphone bill were less. As it stands I don't feel like I'm getting ripped off. I MIGHT feel differently after I get a chance to actually see TTK, but I don't expect that will be the case. What I've seen so far has led me to believe I'll enjoy the expansion. Your outrage is both ridiculous and wasted. If you don't want to pay for the expansion, than don't. Insulting other people because they do want to pay for it is both rude and completely unacceptable.

Witches 3 has tons of free stuff for no extra cost
-
I got a perorder of fall out 4. Now I'm waiting for the game.
-
Edited by cholula sins: 9/10/2015 6:27:19 AMAnd fallout is doing regular free dlc. And mods for console. Nuff said
-
Ironically, the only reason I got ttk is because I'm bored waiting for fallout and the other games coming out in November.....
-
Ill just buy both problem solved
-
You must look at look at Destiny as a MMORPG not as a normal yearly game. If you play WoW you would know that is how they work.
-
Edited by DaKillaYo42: 9/10/2015 7:28:35 AMThat, that is exactly why I love Bethesda so much. They got some good people over there. one of the best things a company can do is give a sense that they actually give a shit.
-
While I am getting both, seasons passes are just for the season....not forever lol
-
Thing is most people have enough income to purchase both.
YOU HAVE NO SENSE!!!
I do, I budget myself. I've had Fallout preordered for a pretty long time no along with any Destiny DLC or expansion packs. Not all companies are the same and quick tip, put some blame on Activision they also have a pretty good hand in anything Destiny related.
-
I would get TTK. Fallout 4 dlc isn't coming out until 2016. If it's like any other season pass, then you'll probably be able to buy it anytime you want.
-
If you aren't bandwagoning get destiny
-
Edited by Squeezy: 9/10/2015 3:40:43 PMI buy things I like. I like destiny so I buy into it. It's that simple. You know what else is over priced? Gas prices. Yet we still buy gasoline.
-
Edited by stegabba19: 9/10/2015 7:25:09 AMFallout 4 will be damn good but it wont get me 1200 hours i have put into destiny
-
Yes fallout expansions are big but not as big as destiny exspasions
-
I'll defending it very simple. Fallout is a redundant game, destiny is repetitive true. But fallout is so redundant it's done four whole games. All with the basically the same story.
