Playstation is simply a better system when you look at the hardware. When comparing which system is better I refuse to take games into account.
Now if you are talking about which system you should buy then the games matter. But just because Xbox might be the better purchase for the games you want to play doesn't mean it is the better built system.
Edit 1 The fan base is alot more mature on Playstation, typically Xbox fans are from the game cube generation and younger were as Playstation are from the n64 generation and older.

I believe it's relatively unknown to even consider. In the UK though I believe the statement to be false. The majority of my friends swapped to Xbox after the late release of the PS3 in the UK and we are from the commodore and spectrum zx generation.

So am I, got a speccy 128k for my 10th christmas! But that doesn't make it so just coz you and your mates got a xbone lol! 1 of the major factors is the xbone was cheaper at launch so obviously the parents went with that! Plus xbox 360 was squeeky City,

You can say that one demo graphic is that the average gamer is 35 years of age. However, age doesn't always measure maturity.
