First of all, yes, I am the one of the victims and hence I'm writing this post.
I signed up my main PSN account when I was in Japan, which is a PSN Japan based account. However, later when I moved to the U.S., I got another US based PSN account. I still play games with my Japanese account because I have all my friends with that account as well as all my trophies, but I buy games with my US account for easier payment with my US credit card. It works pretty good for Destiny vanilla and the other two expansions. I enjoyed playing Destiny with my friends, and hence I immediately pre-ordered TTK Digital Collector Edition (for $80, even I have Destiny and the season pass for expansion I and II) when it appeared in PSN US Store. Later Bungie announced exotic items would be sold later for $20, and hence that would be essentially $60 to get the new contents as I already have the Destiny vanilla version along with the two expansions. It was fine for losing just $20. However, what I didn't expect, and couldn't be worse -- now I can't either get the SUROS pack, nor have my TTK expansion activated.
Earlier today I created a character with my US account, and yea, I got the exotic class item, as well as the emblem and emote. Also, I got the SUROS pack -- for my account with only one level 2 character. My main account, with three 34's and the Moments of Triumph achievement, got *nothing*. It is really disappointing. Even though I see a post saying I might be able to play TTK after 9/15, but I won't be able to get the SUROS pack. The weapons don't matter, but as a collector, obviously I won't be able to get the shader nor the emblem. As for the exotic class items, the collector shaders, emotes and emblems, it seems that Bungie now means to avoid talking about them for this situation.
All what I felt is that Bungie now cares only about money, not their players. It might be tricky that all accounts on a console could have the same benefits with only one purchase of the copy, however lots of people are doing so and they play only one account, while the other is just used for purchasing games. If you changed your policy for TTK, you should at least let your loyal players know before they made the purchase, as the legendary sparrow for pre-ordering the season pass applied to all accounts on a console.
I will think as if I just threw away 80 bucks, and maybe it's time to say good-bye to the game. There's no reason to stay in a game, whose creator only thinks of how much money they can make, instead of how their players feel. But please remember, if you keep making good contents and caring about people who play, they will be willing to pay. However for me after this terrible experience, the $80 could be my last payment to this game.

Hey noahyao, Commenting on things like this is what keeps the game and system as a whole improving. If you could, change the tag to #Feedback instead of #Help so Bungie can see it better.
