Don't know, I like the souls game's. Though I can agree they don't have to all be the same universe, similar games are good imo (such as bloodborn).

Exactly. And if I remeber correctly Miyazaki even said in an interview that he wants to work on different IPs. Like somethin sci-fi.

Dark souls in space. Sounds good to me. Just replace magic Wil lasers and swords with energy blades, add in thr usual bout of jetpacks and aliens, and it would be awesome.
