The Last Word has been Nerfed. It's a weapon I have used since the days before Suros and By far my favourite exotics. It did deserve a nerf but has bungie done enough? or gone overboard?
-
I've seen a major drop in the usage of last word which only proves how much of s crutch weapon it was But I was playing a against a player that knew how to actually used (ass) that or he has found away around the patch
-
lol the clickbait but it deserved it.
-
Click bait. Won't watch no matter how pretty your pic is. Tlw is dead get over it.
-
Yep RIP TLW.... until 3-4 months from now.
-
Too far. Fan fire is pointless now. The bullets just vaporize after 30 feet.
-
It is supposed to have the range of a shotgun.....
-
All these plebs saying tlw are dead are the ones who prolly headglitch snipe from across the map
-
I think it's pretty balanced now.
-
Bungie ruined TLW. As they ruin everything
-
They went too far with the nerf, as they always do/
-
Instead of nerfing everything and giving the gun an unnoticeable buff, I think they should have just made it so you couldn't aim down sights with the gun at all. I only ever used TLW as a hipfire weapon as it was supposed to be used as such. It was just way more fun to use a gun that ayes differently from the others the range I thought was fine when hipfiring as it was still rather difficult to actually hit your target. Now it just feels like a gun that you use simply because it looks pretty and has a unique set of animations.
-
It still snipes just hipfire. I mean ALWAYS.
-
Its fine as it is. It is still my favorite gun.
-
They did what they set out to do. TLW is a ruthless killing machine...up close. If you are in hipfire range, prepare to say "What the f-" and die. Outside of that range, it's refreshing to watch the Last Worders actually run for cover when you shoot at them, instead of just shooting you dead. Basically, my observation was that those that were good with TLW (or good at adapting) still chewed up enemies. It may be one of the few times Bungie succeeds at balancing a gun to their desired outcome.
-
They nerfed it and its still viable. Good job Bungie.
-
Definitely needed a nerf and it seems to have worked when i tried it today. No more longe range bursts. It was needed coz it dominated pvp pre patch.
-
This is what happens when a bunch of chads that aren't that great get together and complain Signed a salty last word lover I'll still try all the new guns but that one particularly in crucibal just felt so good to wield. One of the most fun guns I've ever used while gaming
-
It depends on the circumstance. Its the same with both hand cannons. Bungie didn't actually nerf the TTK's as much as they made them harder to achieve. Like with the last word. it will still drop you in like .54 seconds but good luck with its terrible accuracy and target assist now.
-
it's range is still way too much for what it says...
-
I just used it in alot of matches tonight and its still a great gun!!! i figured out how to compensate for less stability. i took to this gun like a fish in water. i was not doing good in the new maps and i put this gun back and i got my confidence back. yes it should have a little more range there where a couple of situations where i wish i could shoot further. i lose every battle with auto rifles or almost all and i put this gun on and im doing decent again!! occasionally ill use red death to switch it up. i was worried they nerfed it where no one can use it but this is not the case.
-
Now little lights crouch in the corner and hip fire anyone cause they are too afraid to get their hands dirty in close quarter combat. Lol
-
God bless the nerf no more hand cannons everybody with different weapons better teamwork better crucible. Well done bungie
-
Gone a little overboard but that's ok...just leave it alone so we can get used to it again
-
They fixed it actually. Never enjoyed using it until now. So much fun just hip-firing for days.
-
I think they did a really good job adjusting it. More recoil means it will take more skill to use it effectively. That being said, it's still extremely lethal at close range. In that regard they more clearly defined its role, which was absolutely necessary. It should be really good at one thing, instead of really good at quite a few things, and that's how I feel about it now.
-
how much does it do to the head? and how much does it do when hip firing to the head?
