I woke up early in the morning in order to download what I imagined would be a big patch. As to what I expected it was a huge update that required me deleting much of my other content to download this patch. I am a ps3 player and I don't mind making room for the taking King. I went to the tower with my Titan to realize that the level had been established at 34. The light system is an average of everything and when I did find a shell it helped raise my light level. I found the kiosks and they work just fine and through a post confirmed that the strangers rifle is now legendary. I look through my gear and found that all the weapons have been redesigned for damage numbers maxed out exotics being 170. One thing I did notice is that the legendary class item I bought from the speaker is 135. However I have a rare mark of the bulwark already in position and I got one for being level 30. The one I have is 120 defense but the one I got has 160 defense. Why? I know that this preview is to give people a way to look at, interact with, and adjust to the New Destiny style. This is the update that will reestablish the way destiny plays. while you're able to play with any of the old content the way your used to, it is also the basic setup you will have going into the taken King. I haven't had a chance to work with the weapons yet. As a Titan I hope that any of my skills hasn't been nerfed too much. I was looking forward to the auto rifle buff and I'm hoping the shot gun nerf is not as bad as I fear. Another fear I have is the new perks that weapons, armor, and accessories will have and if they are relevant for a hinderance. How come an accessory that I have bought has less defense than a rare given to me by my Titan commander. We are 6 days away from the official Launch of the New Destiny setup And the new story content. There will no doubt be more questions along the way.
