We have males that game with us. They just aren't in the group :)

  • Fair enough, I was just trying to provide advice. I ran a successful guild on WoW for many years that struggled with gender differences among its ranks, and I know it can be emotionally taxing.

  • We've been running for a few months now so we've heard every argument in the book and yes, it gets old. The mission statement includes references to expanding to coed play but people tend to skim that part and dump their opinions here because they feel excluded and think we should know/care. Fortunately bungie clans are casual and other than the trophy benefits, they don't really provide in game advantage. We don't require people to play with us exclusively or carry the clan tag.

Your advertisement here in #Recruitment says nothing about coed play other than "females only". So you can see how people might be misled. It would probably be wise to include more of your mission statement in your advert.

  • It's not our responsibility to demonstrate anything about anyone other than ourselves, how we function as a community, and what kind of environment we seek to provide. I understand that you mean well, but your tone is coming across to me as fairly condescending. Your posts in which you tell us about your history of running a guild and what we should/shouldn't say in our thread sound as if you're trying to teach us poor, stupid women how to run a group. Thanks, but we're not interested in the unsolicited advice.
