Pulse rifles have a lot less damage drop off because bungie has intended them for a longer range. Since the maps are so small you'll rarely see pulse rifle damage dropoff :)

Yea they've kinda limited the upside to ars but also I don't know if it's just me but weapon handling seems off almost slow and clunky like we lost some fps aswell

Nope try upping the sensitivity I went from a 5 to 8 to compensate
