I think it could appear that way because 90% of people seem to be using them right now, so its all you get killed by. The other reason is the lack of large maps to really show off the damage fall off at range. Lets try and wait more than like 16 hours before we start complaining. Give it a week or two, let people find their new loadouts, then see what happens.
