I wanna try get the voice of the ghost changed the new voice is lame af I can't believe they recorded half the crap in his voice and thought 'improvement' lol

Anyone who voted Nolan is an assclown. The voice has absolutely no personality.
-
When they had dinklebot, people where bitching to change Ghost's voice actor. When people lose dinklebot, people bitch about missing him. When people get back dinklebot, people will bitch about bringing back a crappy voice actor. The cycle will never end, just like game rebalencing, so just make good with what u got. For the record though, I like Nolanbot.

Doesn't really matter.

Edited by HELP1NG HAND: 9/10/2015 7:15:47 PMStill on the fence. I am used to Dinklebot, and appreciate the seriousness that he projected, but I feel like Nolanbot is a more animated and engaging character. Some of the new Ghost lines have even triggered a verbal response from me, before I realize that I am talking to a game. Lol I am gonna play through the campaign again, hear his whole performance. Then I will decide.

The new one is on Helium Coils. ;f
-
I posted this elsewhere but I'll repeat my idea: What about an option to choose a Synthesiser type voice like Siri or the one Stephen Hawkins uses to speak? It's a better fit to our Space Faring Magic Wielding Gun toting Superheroes than both Dinklebot and Dinklenot.
-
Why not a female's voice? Preferably one with an British or Australian accent. Kate Beckinsale, for example.
-
Yes we want him back
-
Spongebob
-
They should have let us choose between a few actors.....
-
If this voice shit happens again then at least consider troy baker to do it
-
The only line that I feel needed to be redone was, "we've woken the Hive!"
-
I felt dinklebot was my company when playing but I don't want this voice I want the funny depressed humorous ghost. If anything please redo the lines "where's his ghost" and "we've woken the hive" I can't think of a situation where those phrases would sound anything like how he voiced it and maybe even edit it to sound deeper.

Samuel l Jackson. Come on... the dialogue possibilities...
-
I'd prefer them rewrite the whole script so that an actor can actually read it without sounding like a 1960's robot or a gay man sitting on Rhino.

Edited by Arclight545: 9/10/2015 12:36:32 AMNolan North is a great actor and he could do a great job. He is the voice of Nathan Drake after all. How did Bungievision allow the Ghost character to go from Dinklebot (a term of endearment) to Guilty Spark from Halo. Freemanbot(Morgan Freeman) Fillionbot(Malcom Reynolds from firefly great character), hell Mark Hamilton would be incredible (Luke Skywalker leading you through the galaxy).
-
Gilbert gotfried, now THAT is something I would pay for
-
Dinklebot at this point is just nostalgia. I think North is a vast improvement on the ghost, he adds more personality to it. That and we'll actually hear Ghost talk more now in TTK and future content. If they kept dinklebot then the ghost would only be in vanilla Destiny content, which isn't so great for a companion.
-
I felt like they cut corners with replacing Dinklebot's voice. Nolan sounds completely different from Dinkelage--who I actually liked before Bungie cut a bunch of his lines out before final release. They needed to rewrite some of those lines and, if they really had to, alter the cinematics to make it work. Instead, we got this Nolanbot who actually makes it feel awkward with the way he says some shit. Not all of his lines were bad, but overall, it's pretty sad for a AAA title.

Edited by Unforgiven: 9/10/2015 12:12:46 AMThe new Ghost is sad - pathetic shell of his former self. Shit I would rather listen to Siri on my Iphone than Drakebot. For the final version they need to redo some of the lines. Definitely. We Woken the Hive is one of them. No emotion at all.
-
Option to silence ghost.
-
The new ghost sounds like a kid
-
New voice is too: nasal/whiny childish stupid It just sounds like a 12 year old squeaker.
-
Looks like there Nolan beyond dinklebot =D
-
He sounds almost like a girl
-
Definitely Peter Dinklage, he will be missed
