Haven't bothered with those yet. Not that they are bad, just haven't bothered.

I think the pulse rifles are pretty balanced at the moment.

I agree. Feels like a very small ninjas nerf to praedyths ROF, which makes it good at most encounters, but flails vs medium ROF auto rifles and close range encounters. Which, I guess, is intended. They are perfectly balanced!
