Apparently Bungie didn't realize Auto Rifle would become ridiculous again, because they're disgustingly strong.

Auto rifles are fine. It may seem like Hard Light may be an issue though. The no damage falloff means I get outgunned in both mid-range and short-range. We'll see though. I've got killed by it alot but it could be just because the update was just recent. I haven't been able to use Hard Light so I can't say for sure,

It's a 0/10 for me, Bob.

Edited by XiX_GhOsTx_XiX: 9/8/2015 10:52:18 PMAnd so it begins.. Edit: The reality is you haven't had to fight against AR's for quite some time now because no one has been using them. Now that they're viable again you will need to adjust your tactics and not stand in the line of fire while trying to 1v1 them. Keep moving and use cover.

No they're not.
-
no, they aren't; pretty poor range and stability compared to other weapon types. I would say they're balanced right now, but we'll have to see how the meta evolves
-
At close range where they are intended? Yes it's supposed to. It's like saying "well shotgun killed me at close range, it's OP now." The TTK should be higher the farther you are away. Use a scout rifle and you'll stay alive more.
