Why is this community so whiny and toxic?
Because it is filled with dumb idiotic 12 year old who think they are entitled to everything because their parents didn't raise them right.
Never thankful, happy, content, and always saying "muted".

You have the haters. They play the SHIT outta the game but hate it at the same time(??) Kind of like a smoker. They are addicted but hate it. You have the "desticles" who go with ANYdecision bungie makes and defend it tooth and nail as if they own private shares in the company or work there. Neither is true but these guys will go overboard defending anything, even if they don't like it(?!!!) Bizarre. Then you have your middle-of-the-road forum member. These guys might play a little or a lot, it can vary. They criticize the game not to just be negative but because they like the game, care about it, and want to see it succeed. These are a bit more rare because they are typically older guys. A minority here. They praise the game as well. Criticism often blindly agreed with by the "hater" and the "desticle" will disagree with the words "good sir" or "sir" put in the completely vacant point to make themselves seem older. That's a guess. Idk. Look, you will see it Then, last but not least you have the whiner/whiner. These guys think their really clever but ACTUALLY they are just whining about whiners. Tricky cause that makes them "toxic and whiny" too.................... So there ya go. Forums in a nutshell.

And they make bad decisions about their game Destiny. They charge for every single thing while re-using and reskinning the areas, guns, and missions. And then reselling you all of your guns "Ascension" then making them obsolete "year 2". And they refuse to admit any mistakes. They also take way too long to come out with bug patches, so long in fact that by the time they actually come out, they are no longer even matter. See a clear pattern here? I am 34 By the way. And I have seen some terrible customer service before. But Bungie doesn't have any customer service. Its non existent. If you manage to have issues with bugs in the game, all you have are the Help forums. Forget about getting any help there tho, as you will at most get a copy pasted response.

I actually can't answer this question, it's kind of amazing how insanely awful most of this community is, but the weirdest thing is that it happened in such a short period of time. Not one incident or period of time can I pinpoint and say "that's why it's awful". It is truly chaos that led us here.

Dude it's insane how immature this community is! Everybody always complaining about everything and think that bungie needs to do everything they say. "BUNGIE NERF THIS" "YOU RUINED MY WEAPON I QUIT" It is sick how entitled some people think they are. Players calling others "scrubs" and "filthy casuals" just cause they don't play as much or haven't been playing as long. WTF is wrong with people these days.

2 RepliesThere was a poll on another post earlier asking how old we were. Most of the hits were 16-20 year olds. That may have something to do with it. Not all of them will be a problem obviously.
