What/Who is the greatest threat to Guardians and the last city ( Oryx excluded)

In a nutshell, the Darkness is. The immediate threat is probably a mixture between the Fallen and Hive, though the Vex and Cabal lurk in the shadows, waiting for their DLC's

Cabal don't pose much threat. Personally since the beginning and reading all the lore, I believe that the biggest threat we face will be the vex. Look what they did to Mercury? They turned it into a super computing super machine in days.
