Religion is about faith, you're not supposed to need evidence. Also, why do you feel the need to shove your beliefs down other people's throats? If you don't believe in it, then let others believe what they want. What's wrong if they do believe in it anyway? It won't hurt you, and if they are wrong then they simply end up the same as you.

Except others believing in God does negatively impact on non believers lives. I live in the UK where we still have Sunday trading laws based on it being a religious day of rest initially. When I was growing up shops weren't allowed to open on a Sunday because of this religious belief even if the owner wasn't religious. Gay marriage has been opposed and held back by religious people who believe it is an abomination according to their beliefs. When the religious keep their beliefs to themselves and out of politics and law I will keep my lack of belief quiet. While religion and it's beliefs are forced on me why shouldn't I voice my opinion?

I'm trying to help people be less blinded by religion. Without religion, they'd be able to think critically, and stop letting their foolish beliefs drag humanity down. Can you imagine how many lives would be saved if religion never existed? Chill, and if you don't like my post, don't read it, kid.

You can choose what to believe in. I never said anything about myself choosing a religion, I simply said there is no reason to shove his lack of belief down other people's throat.

Isn't that the goal of most religions? To convert others occasionally using force or fear to convert them? The cool thing about the world that we live in is that we're allowed to vocally challenge what others believe. Without outside perspectives, one's belief only gets more and more close-minded.
