Will the Dreadnaught be open to all guardians?
Will the Dreadnaught be open to all guardians, including those who don't yet opt for The Taken King? Where will the Dreadnaught likely appear on the map of the solar system?

No You'd need to buy the dlc.

I really hope not. If you're not going to continue with the game and support it, you shouldn't have any access to the dlc.

It's only open if you can 420 hard-drag-quick-scope Crota on infamous mode.

8 RepliesMan, I hope there are some good free stuff for people who don't get the DLC. I don't want to see a bunch of people miss out on the new subclasses. They seem too good to pass up.

No the only thing that you'll get is the level 40 cap, the new light system, and the strike play lists. The lists however will have 1 set that it strickly for TTK purchasers it looks like. You'll also get the weapon balancing of coarse. But the only things that nonTTK buyers will get are the world changing things. The extra content will still be locked. You'll probably see it on the map and you'll have to download it on 9/8 but you'll be unable to play it. Kind of an insentive to buy maybe? But I also thing that's just how "MMO"'s work.

The new sub classes and location (dreadnought) as well as the weapon foundry and exotics are DLC locked to TTK
