I'm hoping Nolanbot has more of a personality than Dinklebot.If Nolan is better, then I won't miss Dinkle whatsoever.

But he was voice acting a robot character, what did people expect? Did Brent Spiner get criticism for his portrayal of Mr Data?

Data is a much more complex character than Dinklebot. Plus, he did have a stint of having an emotion chip. Personality doesn't always mean how they talk. Like Geralt, from Witcher. He's witty, funny, and is loving to those close to him. Just because being a Witcher dampened his emotions doesn't mean we he completely devoid of a personality.
