Let me put this out there for people to ponder over.
Let's imagine for a second, that there [i]is[/i] a god(s) of some sorts.
BUT, there is no valid evidence that the god you believe in, is even the right one.
For all you know, the Greek gods could be sitting up on mount olympus laughing their asses off at everyone believing in false gods.
For all you know, there could be other life, millions of lightyears away, that worships the right god.

What's the difference between a believer and a non believer? Just one god, that's it. When people understand why they dismiss all the other possible gods, they will understand why some of us dismiss their god as well.
