I think Thunderlord will be able to change element based on the Subclass equipped, not like how Murmur does it by switching perk nodes.
This is only possible since they are adding the new subclasses.
I got the idea from how Bishop from X-Men DoFP charges his weapon with his power. (Movie was meh except for Quicksilver)
Edit: changed title to better convey message.

Edited by Insomniatron: 9/6/2015 2:50:21 AMUPDATE: Thunderlord will indeed be replaced by a reskin that allows you to switch between arc and solar. The new version is called JAMES TAYLORD Flavor text: "I've seen fire, and I've seen rain." Screenshot coming for proof just give me a minute to upload!!!1!

I think people should wait and see... Because on HoW there were so many weapons that looked the same. For example there's a scout riffle that drops In the crucible that looks just like Fang of ir Yut.
-
I'm trying to get Three Thunderlords (have 2 already) because of what the videos show of a Solar and Void machine gun designed like it. And people claiming what you say. Maybe thinking you'll take the thunderlord and like "change" it somehow into a different burn. Through quest or whatever. Cant wait to see though :)
-
It should have a special that waste a whole clip but does storm call.
-
I think it would be cool that what ever enemy shield type you last destroyed is what element your TL becomes until you break a new shield type Ex: Kill a fallen captain, TL is arc. Kill a wizard, TL is solar
-
FIRELORD NOW
-
Title: Thunderlord Y2 will... Opens thread: I think...
-
Edited by blades of honor: 9/6/2015 10:43:40 AMI heard it will still be arc. But will fire miniature gjallarhorn rounds
Lmao
Got my thunderlord from a nightfall and I'm in love. I hope they don't screw with it too much
-
A) Days of Future Past was awesome. B) Thunderlord is confirmed replaced in TTK with a reskinned solar damage version called FRLRD OZAI.
-
I was about to say that it probably changed elements based on subclass, but you already posted that :D
-
It well be called the "Fire Peasant" and its flavor text well be "Nobleman sway"
-
Let the cry babies cry when they get sun broken!
-
You say will like its confirmed. It doesn't even make sense. Thunderlord doing solar damage? Alright.
-
-
I just don't understand what's up with using thunderlord to change elements? Its called THUNDERLORD
-
Your title is extremely misleading. -_-
-
If this is the case, thunderlord may be my new favorite exotic coming in year 2
-
It would be cool.
-
This quite possible since the instances in which we saw these different element thunderlords is in the hands of different classes. The fire version was in the hands of a titan and the void was in the hands of a hunter.
-
It's called THUNDERlord just sayin
-
That would be awesome
-
Or there could be two others HMGs like thunderlord...
-
Thunderlord is a sucky exotic in my opinion and i was once very excited to get it. No stability
-
-
Or rather it's going like Murmur but it's going to need a name change.
