"What is money for if not to buy what you want" OP unknowingly outs himself as a 15 year old with no responsibilities, of course he wouldn't understand why spending an exorbitant amount of money on a shader is stupid. Give him a break guys

I don't think that ousts his age. If you're an adult with a full time job you *should* and I say should have enough money to cover bills, food shopping, put some in savings and have money to spend on yourself for things you want. When I get paid I always set aside the money for important things, save a % and leave myself the rest of the money for things I want to spend money on. Wether it be food or a shader that was obtainable for free. Not to mention the shader isn't that cool but if OP wanted it, it's his money.

That's the responsible thing to do. And like most adults (adults) that's what I do. Plus, I gotta say. I didn't think it was that good looking of a shader either, but now that its on all 3 of my characters it looks great.

As long as you take care of your own and still have money saved up buy whatever your heart desires. Your $75 on a shader isn't much different than someone buying an $80 Brady jersey. Aside from your thing being free at one point a year ago and it being digital and not technically existing but it's something you want and got.

We aren't taking anything with us, so in actuality, does anything exist?

Well you can physically hold the jersey lol the shader is a bunch of code😁 but in the end nothing you buy does go with you so it doesn't entirely matter what you buy
