The ps4 has a slight edge on the GPU, and the XBO has a faster CPU and RAM. In the hands of a skilled programmer, you really shouldn't be able to tell the difference, because they are essentially both Cheap gaming PCs. I agree that the Home screen on the one is just ass. It is a chore to find simple things like IE and the game you installed 2 months ago but didn't play. I just picked up a PS4 and don't have an opinion yet as I'm adjusting to it's UI.
